Dis Mom's Club?

You mean you don't see that on EVERY flight? :rotfl2:

:rotfl: I never even THOUGHT about not allowing my children peanut butter on a plane when travelling to be honest, so I guess learning more is a good thing, but here's the catch...my DH is a pilot. He has never told me that they aren't supposed to have people NOT consume peanut products on a plane if there is someone with a severe allergy on the plane. Opps.

Hope everyone has a good week. Today I'm working from home and just hoping to get some work done as the boys run around and decide that every 15 minutes they need a snack, I'm starting to think they are both going through a growth spurt at the same time. All weekend they kept asking for food ALL DAY, I have NEVER seen a 2 and 3 year old consume so much food ever! I have seen my future grocery bills and they aren't pretty.

I also start P90X tonight. I'm just praying I'll be able to get out of bed tomorrow :rotfl2:

I hear ya!
Our kids never stop eating somedays!! As long as they eat well at mealtime we tell them they can snack when their hungry, but my goodness they can put it away!

Oh yeah, and you don't want to get sucked into the "Kids and Snacks" threads here either! :scared:

I am not against taking my kids out of school for vacation. Sometimes parents can only get their vacations certain times of the year due to seniority or other reasons. Sometimes as in our case it can depend on the weather and the crowds for Ty. We were supposed to go on his Wish trip this past February but due to my fil's death we had to cancel just a few days before. Now we are going in July and we are very cautious about going then as it will be extremely hot and crowded. If it was not a Wish trip we would not be going this time of year but we are packing a cooling vest for him to help him.

Oh my! I don't think I will go over there!! I keep a snack basket at kid level for them to get their own snacks when the feel the need. It has:

Granola Bars
Sugar Free Pudding
Sugar Free Fruit Cups
Raisins
Small bags of whole wheat gold fish

Stuff like that. This way they can get something when they are hungry and feel like they have control of it.

Montessori stuff!

and Jon and Kate :rolleyes1 Can't stand either one of them. So who knows where I would fall on that!!

Right about the Fatal Allergy? How can anyone say My kids FATAL allergy is more severe than you kids FATAL allergy?? :confused3

It reminds me of my cousin who always used to say: "my mother is going to kill me twice then die if she finds out we did this" :rotfl: Maybe the peanut allergy makes you die twice.

Hope Bug and Monkey feel better quick!

We have swim lessons this morning ~ hoping we don't get asked to leave again. :confused3 Z loves swim lessons but doesn't want to listen to the coach.

Then home for lunch and hopefully making Peanut Butter Playdoh this afternoon.

OK Moms... I'm asking you because I've read too many threads and now I'm confused!:confused3 - I'm sure you can help clear things up!

We are seriously thinking about really using the Photopass this trip. Last year we actually had 2 different times where PP guys came up and asked to take shots for a while and they spent over 15 minutes just taking pics of our kids! One was in a playground at Epcot and the other was in AK (I think?) Anyway, we also got some great family shots with PP. We had asked a couple times if people, (yes strangers) would take a pic for us and all but one of them turned out awful. So, it would be nice to have a few pictures of myself included too. If you looked at our photo albums you would think my children only have a dad!

So, here's my questions...
I got a photopass card to preregister but I can't find it. I called the PP support # and they said I'd need to wait till we get to WDW to do anything at this point. We are staying onsite and booked through WDWtravel. We are 10 days out and have not received any discount emails for pre-purchasing the CD or anything.

I've seen that is you just use PP as normal and when we get back we "might" have a code waiting and we buy the CD before registering our photopass account. That sounds weird to me.

If I pre-purchase the CD now, do you pay for it now or when you actually go in to look at the pictures?

I'm assuming we cannot wait to see if the pictures are worth it before we buy the CD at a discount. We'd need to pay full price ($150) if we look at our pictures first, right??

Oh, I am usually not easily confused but this Photopass business is driving me buggy! :scared:

Any help is appreciated! :flower3:

I was under the understanding you couldn't prebuy them anymore? Last year we did do the prebuy and we paid when we did the prebuy and got emailed a code to use at checkout once we got home.

We ended up using ours but I also believe you could ask to have the money refunded if it wasn't something you wanted.

Now we did get the email at 45 days out that talked about Photopass but didn't provide a link to prebuy it like others have said. So that I don't know anything about.

We liked having especially the BBB photo session.

Hi everyone! I hope I'm not too late in posting in here, I'm still getting acquainted with the boards. My name is Daniela and I've been far too obsessed with Disney as far back as I can remember. I'm 25 and I've (only, ugh!!) been to WDW 4 times. My DS is Nicholas, he'll be 2 in July and I've made sure my love for Disney has rubbed off on him. He's watching Little Einsteins as we speak! We're hoping to head to WDW next fall and I absolutely can't wait to take him (and hopefully a new little one). If it weren't for my DH who thinks I'm kinda nuts for loving Disney so much, I'd go every year!

I've stayed in the Polynesian twice, Animal Kingdom Lodge and offsite once. I'd love to stay at Kidani Village next year...AKL is my favorite so far. I'm so excited that there's a great place to discuss WDW with other moms. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions before I bring DS next year. Its great to meet all of you!!

This makes me laugh so I have to share:

WHY doesn't he want to lay in his bed??

I swear he has abused dog syndrome due to the girls using him as a play thing. He ADORES them though!

Update on photopass...

Yep, I should know by now that if I would just be patient my question would be answered. That's why everyone tells me to hold my questions until the end!

I got an email from Disney Destinations today for $50 off a PP CD but it expires the day before we check in so it is definitely "pre-purchase."
It is non-transferable and must be paid in full ($99.95) at time of purchase.

So wherever I read that you can do it all after you get back but before you look at your pics, that's not correct in this case.

:) Now, back to my last minute planning, printing, packing......

Oh my... 10 days to go!!

I wonder if you and I are the only ones here with nothing to do and kids napping?? Well, I have it 1/2 right... kids napping but tons to do... I'm just ignoring that pile of laundry and all the dishes for now. How about you?

LOL! I have one napping and one watching SpongeBob (yuck! I never let her watch it so she is intrigued) I have laundry in washer, meat for dinner thawing, filing out my FAFSA so I can take some classes in the fall, resting my back (I think I have a pinched nerve) and waiting for my DH to come home so I can go to the doctors to have it looked at.

All while keeping tabs on my email and Disboards!!

Pretty amazing huh?? LOL!
