DIS merchandise?

is the a site you can buy DIS merchandise like t-shirts, tote bags etc...????

I thought at one time I saw a page you could buy items with DIS logo and lime green colored item even a waterproof case.

umm maybe I was dreaming. if there is i would appreciate the link. if there isn't bummer.

I know there was, found a reference to it in older posts somewhere... but not anymore that I know of or can find.

They should at least sell patches, stickers, and decals that say DIS... I know they cant sell anything in the shape of a certain character's classic silouette without getting their rears sued off... the logo's pushing it... maybe green vynal, sticker stuff, window cling, and iron on fabric, all in lime green, with a free set of stencils in a certain aforementioned shape

thanks. so maybe i am not dreaming that at one time they did sell lime green items with DIS letters. I thought for sure i saw a waterproof case and t-shirts. but maybe i didn't or they have stopped selling merchandise.

can for sure understand their limitations so not to get "sued" for appearing to represent WDW merchandise.

oh well. Guess just have to go out and find my own lime green shirt and put my own iron on transfer <G>

there are some cafepress links I've seen, so search for "cafepress" and you'll find some peoples cafepress stores (i believe they don't make ANY money off what you buy, just cafepress.com) or you could make your own shirts...
You could do the whole dis logo, and I doubt anyone would care, or you could try for just the ears or ears w/ castle outline...
or just make the outline and take it to a silkscreener with a tshirt and it should cost about $10 for anything that will fit on a single letter sized page...

let me know if you need any help with the image editing... I have some good software and free time later today
I can host them (I have my own domain/service) post them up unless DIS would get mad then I can just email a link you...

any Admins care if I make a large size outline of the DIS logo? I have no intent of personal gain from it...

I appreciate the offer. i often use iron on and images i either design or find to use. I was thinking for a cruise in Sept i would make a few t-shirts or polo shirts using lime green color then a graphic.

I made one for last cruise using a design grahpic i made but using clipart I found. I put it on a polo top and wore it to arrive and board the Magic. It had Capt mickey, dates of cruise and Disney Magic etc...

So will probably do something like this again but make a few more for the Sept cruise.

There WAS a Dis store - that's where I got the lime green DIS shirt I wore at the DCL terminal. (Brady and I went on the same cruise!) I am not sure they are still doing it or not. As for CafePress - they won't do anything that is a Disney Logo because of copyright laws. If I can dig out the DIS place - I'll post it if it still exists...

Ok so I had time before class, I found the closest font I have to the DIS lettering (not including boards.com) is "Eras Bold ITC" and I whipped up an ear shadow and added a solid version of the castle point from my sig (reversed horizontally) which is fairly close to what's above the dis log, but TOTALLY SOLID so it would be easy for you to stencil or take to a silkscreener

don't want to get in trouble with DIS so until I find out if I can post them here I won't. PM me for the URL of the folder I put a few versions in...

I did a search and the link that had the Dis Shop (www.disshop.com/store.asp) is "page not found" Found other posts saying the same thing - so they must not be doing it any more. Still, I would think one could get lime green shirts and make stuff....

thanks. yeah that's what i will do just get a lime green shirt and put my own designs. there was a family in the terminal that had done that. they all matched, and their shirts were cute.

I just have to find a very small lime green shirt for Pal Mickey so he and I can match LOL.
