This is a super idea, however, in the Newsletter, Yavin mentions have to be in China in April. (I believe that is what it said, as the trip for the end of March was delayed by a few weeks.) Could this be a problem??

Did anyone get a reply from VMK. I worte mine the first day and never even got an instant reply it says it will acknowledge contact us within 24 hours. Just wondering if I should send it in again?

I just want to remind everyone that DISNEY may not reply at all.

If they acknowledged the receipt of your email then please be aware that they did get it.

I do not think that they(DISNEY)will respond to any individual emails about this request.

Also rest assured that they will take this under serious consideration and advisement.

Thanks Mal. I just got nervous because I was reading the contact us info and they said they would repsond. I never expected a response to the request. More like an automatic canned response of yes we got your letter looking into this issue. I never got anything that said they received it. So I will sit back and wait.

Thank you all for sending all the letters into VMK and disney. I got a message today that they had received all of our emails and they have been forwarded to the right people. I do not know how it will all turn out but in the meantime, so we will not overplay our hand and become a nuisance, I would kindly ask that no more emails be sent. Prayers and Pixie dust are ok but we dont want to bug the staff to death with a flooded message box.

I have a friend who claims that he knows Yavn and is usually very discreet about talking about him. In order to respect his privacy, I usually don't ask him about him either. In this case, I am going to "break" my oath of not asking him about him for this time, and ask if he can pass the word to him, in person, as well as in the form of all the "notes" he's getting from everyone else. I hope that this he takes out this samll part of his day to help change the life and make a wish come true for a boy.

I hope it all goes well and actually happens!

I am going to put my two cents in again....and reiterate what grumps has said.

Disney has received all the emails and letters concerning Ink and to prevent this from going down the wrong road and maybe becoming a nuisance instead of a from the heart request, I truly want to ask everyone to relax you have done all you can do and to let things play out now with no further assistance from the outside.


I know that Bugs and Ink are sincerely touched by this and if nothing else comes from this but the love the board has shown for one of our own then that will be an awesome GIFT.
