It's a saturday, how does 6pm sound? At Applebee's at crawfordsville rd and 465.

Those of you that were there last year know where it is, those of you that don't can p/m me and I can give you directions.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

I have fond memories of my first Indy meet in September 2001 at Loon Lake Lodge! I will probably be working that Saturday, but if not...I'd love to come. :)

Hi Nancy. Maybe this time we'll be able to talk some. That meet was huge. lol

We won't be able to make it. My uncle moved is Labor Day party to 9/3...usually it is on the Sunday before. We were going to skip this year, but this is the last year for him to have his party and it is his 70th birthday....maybe next time.:(

Can I get a little info on how this meet works. Do you have a room reserved, or do we have to make individual reservations. Do you have to RSVP ahead of time, or can you just show up if you can make it? My wife is not a DISer, can I bring her along? She loves Disney also, just doesn't go for boards or chat rooms over the internet. How long do you think this will run. I live in Greenwood, only about 30 minutes away. Sounds like fun. Anything else you could pass along would be helpful. Thanks, Bill :earsboy:

Hi! This meet is just for dinner and talking. No room reseverations needed, especially if you live in greenwood.

I'd like a headcount, but it's not neccessary. So don't worry about that.

Your wife is more than welcome to come. Kids, dogs too. Wait, the restaurant might not like that. lol

It usually runs a couple hours, but if you can't stay that long, that's ok too. This is very informal. For that matter, my car has broken down on almost every dis meet I've tried to attend and I've been very late. lol Luckily I have a new car. lol

I don't know what else to add, but I"d love to meet you and your wife. I hope to see you. :)

Count us in, DW and myself will be there. We will let the boys have a night a home alone so they will not come with us. This sounds like fun. As as far as the room being reserved, I meant at Applebees, will you have a room or sections for us so we will all be together? Thanks :earsboy:

Great!

There aren't any rooms to reserve, but I will get a count and warn them ahead of time.

Serena, what's the count so far?

Well, wish we could be there, but we will be on our way to the World.

What better reason to miss a DIS meet.

Have a great time everyone.

Here's the address just in case someone wants it.

I may be working that day from 11-3. My DH and son will be visiting family in Michigan, and I'm not going with them because of work. So, I was thinking I could drive to Indy after work for the meet and get a Priceline hotel for the night. THEN I saw my work schedule for the following week, and I start at 7 a.m. Sunday! So, no Indy DIS meet for me this year. :(

We have a memorial service that Saturday - Kara still talks about the fun time we had at the Lake Loon Lodge that time

I will try to make it that night. I'm going to the outlet mall in Edinburgh that day, but I can probably make it for dinner.

SIMZAC-I'm from Greenwood, too. It really is a small world afterall!

This sounds fun - I think we'll try again! We might be heading north though to see in-laws. I'll update! Is anyone else bringing children? DD, 7, is very social (much more so than DH or me!) but if there are no others I can get a sitter.
