Just Booked my son and his friend for a 2 week visit from Atlantic City to Orlando for $86.44 round trip for 2 people

The flight was $11.11 each way per person


I will be there July 7th - August 19th and my flight was MORE then both of their flights combined

Spirit has great fares out of AC. I get their email, but they never seem to be going where I want to go when I need to go there. It's a nice airport. I like it much better than LaGuardia (Spirit also flies from there), but it's not nearly as convenient as Newark. I can walk out my front door, be on the train in five minutes and at the airport in less than an hour.

Doing a WDW happy dance. Bill just booked us to be at WDW for Thanksgiving. We are staying at Port Orleans - Riverside. Then, changing to SSR on Sunday (November 30th). More park days. Yahoooooooooo! (Thank you honey! ) We didn't have any major plans set for Thanksgiving. We would just be hanging around the house twiddling our fingers, waiting to leave for WDW on Saturday. Bill has Thursday and Friday off. Why not be at WDW?!?!?!?!?!

Updated: I just called WDW and made an ADR for Ohana for Saturday night. However, the only time they had available was at 9:30 PM. I figure, we'll watch the fireworks (9 PM) from the beach and then head into dinner. Our kids are night owls while at WDW. This is our first time visiting The Polynesian and eating at Ohana. I can't wait. This is probably the closest we'll ever get to being in Hawaii.

I still can't make an ADR for T-Rex Cafe (DTD). The CM told me the tentative opening is "Late 2008". Wouldn't that mean December?????? However, they have not opened reservations for it yet. All I can do is keep checking.

Hey you travelin people, we had a great time on the cruise even though Paul was recovering from surgery. We'll do it again in a few years when the new ships come out. God Willing. We have a couple on new grandchildren and they'll be about the right age then. If Mikaila still wishes to go, we'll take her too. Best Wishes on all of your future travels.

Port Orleans Riverside is our favorite Disney resort. We've stayed at all resort levels, but really love this one. We went there after our cruise in December, and will go back as soon as we can. We aren't planning anything right now because of the projected arrival of the twins and the fact that Jim has no vacation time until next July if he doesn't take any time off at all (including sick) from now until then!

Glad to hear it! It was between this or a Fort Wilderness cabin again. That is all that was available for Thanksgiving. As much as we liked the cabin this past trip, we wanted to try a different resort. The pictures I've seen look neat. At first I was a little bummed we couldn't get French Quarter (booked). But, Bill read reviews that people liked Riverside better because of the pools, restaurants and it was quieter.

Even though we are DVC Members. We still plan to stay in "regular" resorts too. We would like to eventually stay in every resort at least once to experience it. We'll save GF for just Bill and I. We took the kids their to see the gingerbread house before our cruise. We had a great time. But, felt a little out of place with the kiddos.

We like AC airport too..so nice and small and easy to get around. We stopped using Spirit once Jet Blue came to Newark. But we are using them for our Sept first flight home again (Spirit). They were the cheapest!! MIL is going to have the hardship of spending the day in AC waiting to pick us up!!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE !!!!

We are going to a BBQ pool party at friend's then stopping by for a quick hello and Dessert at another friend's house here in town, then we are all going to watch the fire works on the Toms River..

DS has to be on call at 6:30pm until all the visitors leave town after the fireworks.. The ambulance will be supplied with oxygen and cold water

WOW!!! I'm impressed! That's great work!

And I was so impressed with myself because I finally got all my pictures uploaded (yesterday). I haven't even captioned most of them yet, but you can see them here. I really will finish all the captions. I hope no one minds that I borrowed a few of the pictures that I didn't take myself. I wanted to show my friends and co-workers what a great time we all had!

I also finished posting most of the pictures from my trip to WDW in May. They aren't all captioned either (yet), but you can see them here. I think there are still a few pictures in my camera which haven't made it to the computer yet. I'm also trying to get my friend Leslie to get her pictures organized so that we can post them, too.

BTW, Tina--I haven't forgotten you! I'm still working on organizing my collection! I'll send the DVD's as soon as they're ready--maybe another week.

The babies are coming along nicely. My DDIL goes to the doctor again on Friday, and she'll have more ultra-sound pictures. She's finally finished with the hormones she's been taking since January, so she feels much better. Now if only we can wait until after Christmas for these babies to be born! Of course, that means that I have plenty of time for all of that knitting!

Tina, Your scrapbook pages are amazing. I am soooooooo far behind on my scrapbooking. I had a friend who owned a scrapbook supply store. She closed it last year. I think that is the last time I cropped. You have inspired me. I need to get to Recollections (local scrapbook store) this weekend and get going.

There is Jonas Brothers Fever in Dallas tonight. They are in town and of course the concert is sold out. We got our fix of them in May at WDW. I almost have my hearing back from all the screaming girls.

Everyone have a great Wednesday. It's half-way until the weekend and nine more days until my birthday! Yea!!!!!!!

Beth - How are the little bambinos? When does DDIL go in to find out the sex of the babies? Do they want to know? For the sake of the household, I sure hope they are boys. I won a 4night/5 day trip to a select disney resort with 5 day park hoppers.
I am so excited that I won but I think it is going to cost me more than just using our DVC points for the boys b-day. It doesn't come with airfare or food and they won't let me pay to add the DDP so I invited my aunts they are identical twins and their bday is the day before the boys to come along and I would provide the room and tickets and they have to cover their own airfare and food, they are both teachers so I have to wait until their principals comes back from vacation.
