DIS Meet Dec 8 07

DH told me to go work for Disney this summer He said he would come down on weekends when he can.. DS may come too.. Depends on his "social life"
I am seriously thinking about it.. I know enough people in Disney to find out the information and if Disney will allow me to work for 2 months or so..

I'm sure you guys would have a blast! Go for it.

Well, I am an official graduate of CDK (College of Disney Knowledge)!!! They are going to mail me my certificate!!

Wow, that was quick....Congratulations!

This time next week we'll be driving to WDW.

Go for it, Stacy! Jim has decided that after I retire (about five more years) he wants to work for Disney. This is the guy who wouldn't move to Florida if they paid him--I guess the idea that someone will pay him changed his mind! I'm hoping that the Ebay business that I'm getting involved with will provide enough income that I can do that full time and just hang around Disney when I want to. Right now, it's providing a tiny income, and more "in-kind" and barter than money, but that's fine too.

OK, it's back to work. I finally finished and mailed my annual report, and now it's time to catch up on all the other stuff that's been on my desk for a month. I hope none of it was urgent!

This time next week we'll be driving to WDW.

I will be flying to Tampa on the 14th of April and driving to Orlando.. Couldn't pass up the $8 flight... Plus I need to be there for the 15th when our internet will be installed... Andy & Damien and the gang will be driving down in 2 RVs.. Leaving Friday April 18th after school.. We will ALL be driving back on the 26th into the 27th in the RVs..


18 hour drive for all of us though

October 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 13, 16, 19, 21, 23, 24, 26, 28, 30, and 31.

Hope everyone is doing well! We're getting ready to fly to Korea this Friday. I'm excited about the trip, as I haven't been to Asia before. Plus I get to see some good friends while I'm there - and of course shop!

I had to cancel our cruise to Turkey this fall, because of a work conflict, but I was able to find a 7 night on Navigator of the Seas in August. We'll go to Ephesus, Athens, Messina, and Iraklion. So I've been busy finalizing tours for the Russia cruise in June and also doing research on the ports August.

Oh, and I just found out that Tokyo Disney will start their 25th anniversary celebration while we are there!

Don't forget to take thousands of pictures (and post them for us to see). I always show my granddaughter the pictures people post of interesting places. She wants to travel the world when she's older. She figures she has to be at least 12 before she can travel on her own. She may be right!

OMG last week we had 3 tornadoes hovering around our little town but thank goodness none of them touched. I was scared to death I thought the tree outside was going to fall on my car but I was to chicken to go outside and move it and our house sounded like it was howling.
