DIS Ladies Only Trip 2007 WISH!

I don't even want to talk about my weight today. Good lord, I was only there for three nights and I didn't think I ate all that bad. :sad2:

I am going to start the last mini challenge this week but I need to write it up. It's going to run from this week to the end of summer and thus, be the "Summer Challenge" (so witty, huh... :rotfl2: )
 
Well another bad week under my belt - literally :)

Actually I ate horribly - anything I wanted and whenever I wanted it yet I still went back down to where I was 2 weeks ago :rolleyes: Where's the logic?
 
I'm still here. not gaining but not really losing either. I am down a grand total of 8 from where I started. not much but it is better than gaining at least

So here is the Summer challenge. I call it the 3 by 3. :thumbsup2 Basically, anyone who loses 3% of their weight from the weigh in on Tuesday (if you did not weigh in on Tuesday and want to participate, PM me) to the weigh in September 4 (or a week earlier if that week is going to be a bad one for you) will share in the prize pot. That's losing 3% of your weight as of June 5th by September 4th, or, put simply, in 3 months. I tried to come up with something that would be fair to everyone, some people don't have alot to lose so doing 10 pounds in three months might have completely ruled them out.

So here is an example. A 200 pound person would need to lose 6.3 pounds by September 4th to win. The amount of the prize for each person will be determined by how many people actually lose the 3%. The amount in the additional pot at this point is $35.00. So if 7 people make that 3%, you will each get $5 plus whatever little goodie I add in there.

Just a note that I have not received from a couple of people and if you don't want to participate in that part of the WISH, that is fine, but you can't win from the big pot at the end if you haven't contributed to it. You don't have to contribute to the mini challenge one, that is purely optional.

Also, remember to stay active in this you need to weigh in twice a month. You can weigh in the first week and the last week of the month if you want, doesn't matter, but you must weigh in twice a month.


Now is the time to kick it into gear ladies. There is still plenty of time to turn it around, get in shape, and win this thing! :cheer2:

I am on day 3 of the Sacred Heart (soup) diet that Kelly has been on. I am on day 3 and lost 5 pounds. The diet indicates you can lose 5-7 pounds in 3 days and 10-17 pounds in 7 days if you follow the 7 day program. My husband has also been following the diet and has only lost less than a pound. I guess it does not work for everyone. :confused:

Thanks for the kudos girls, its very nice, but I am happy to do my part in all of this to help in a small way to keep people on track. I have faith in all of you that you can do what you want within this challenge and beyond. We just all need to believe we can do it, see it and go for it. :cheer2:
 
I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I cheated and got on the scale yesterday. Glad to say that I dumped at least some of that weight I picked up a week ago. :rolleyes1 We'll see what tomorrow has in store for me. I really need to pick up the exercise. I don't know why that's so hard. I think I will get up when my husband does tomorrow, actually get out of bed get up, and try and go for a walk. Hopefully it won't be too dark.

In this case, its a fruity frosty adult beverage they serve at the Adventurers Club.

I am down three pounds ladies. I still have another 1.5 to get back to what I was pre-trip. I did not make it outside this morning. I remember the alarm going off and my husband going into the shower. The next thing I knew he was telling me it was time to wake up. I know I was tired because I rarely fall back asleep after that alarm. We'll try to work that out for tomorrow.

I am concerned what damage I will do when we go to FL. We will be gone for 16 days! 7 of those days we will be on the dining plan. :eek:

I want to be supportive but frankly, I would be frightened too. After three days with no alcohol adding what it did to me this last time, I am scared for you. :hug:

I weighed this morning for some reason. I was down another pound. I hope it looks like that tomorrow.
 
Last July when I went I was gone 10 days and did not gain or lose--but I was not DP back then. At Disney I only did one TS at Boma and was careful to just serve about a tablespoon of everything. This trip I have 6 ADR's planned and 4 of those are buffets! :sad2: NO one to blame but myself...I am the planner! If I can hold the gain to about 5 pounds I think I can live with that!

What I hope will help is that we are having groceries delivered and therefore will be able to have breakfast in the room. I have ordered cereal, fruit and yogurt. So, at least that meal should not cause too much damage.
