Hi everyone

I hope that you have all had a good week

I haven't been brave enough to weigh myself this morning (and I may just leave it this week), On Friday I had a large bag of Maltesers to myself (sorry but I don't feel guilty, they were delicious), on Friday evening DH & I went out to a very nice Cantonese restaurant in Nuneaton, great food accompanied by a bottle of wine and several Smirnoff Ice's. Saturday, we had a little get-together for my brothers 40th, and I know I had at least 3 pieces of birthday cake and yesterday I lost during a fight with a box of jaffa cakes :rotfl:

So I'm not going to worry this week, cos I've had a great weekend.

I hope you've all had a bit more self control than me this week

Good Luck

Hi There

Good luck to all and never mind Mandy, we all have weekends like that.

I lost another 2lb this week, ao I am well on my way to my first stone.

Sue

Hi
I lost 2.5 lb last week but have been a bit naughty this week from steak and home made chips to lots of chocolate.
Motto for this week - must try harder as the jubilation when you have lost it is great but then you feel terrible when you don't!

Hi Mandy my weekend went a bit like yours, I've definately fallen off the dieting bandwagon! I shouldn't mind too much if I were you about the maltesers, after all they're only air and if you ate them standing up they wouldn't count anyway! I had a load of gin and tonics friday night but I think I did get my 5 portions of fruit out of the lemons so that didn't matter either!

A bit mixed - I lost one pound only but it does bring me to my first stone    However we were at a wedding reception at the weekend where there was a free bar all day and I had nothing but diet Coke or mineral water so feel I should have lost another half stone just for being so good!!! Some weeks it's just harder than others. At least when you fall off the wagon Mandy you do it in style :rotfl: There's always next week!!!

well done everyone, mandy we all have off weeks its part of the fun :rotfl:
i lost 1lb this week so i have reached my target of 2 stone :cheer2: :cheer2:
i am still going to go to ww tho just to be on the safe side

wow , well done everyone!
well mandy :rotfl: i used to have those sort of days every day!
My 1st weigh in is on wednesday, at ww. :rolleyes1 i have been good, i have been good!! :cool1:

Well done Di and Natalie for losing 1 lb (great news on losing 2 stone Nat), to Sue for losing 2 lbs and Clare for the 2.5 lbs. Carol I'm loving the idea of all that fruit your taking with you gin and tonics - pure genius (I must try that one) and good luck with your weigh-in at WW Jeanette

Well done to everyone who lost weight and well done to those who indulged themselves and didn't feel guilty - beating yourselves up about little things like that only makes dieting worse so well done for not letting it get to you! :cool1:

I lost 1lb this week... the weight loss is slowing up now so I'm going to go back to WW and see if that speeds it up again! Only 17 Days until the holiday though... Methinks I might need a bit of Mickey's Magic to get me in shape by then :wizard:

Well done everyone!

Mandy - it is a fruitless task to try and win against Maltesers, they are truly the dark side ;)

Have yet to be weighed but will be very cross if I have not lost something after a weekend of pure self denial while attending BBQs and parties - I have drunk so much diet coke I may turn into a can of it ;)

Thank you to Natalie for inviting me to join.
I don't want to be longwinded but we should introduce ourselves
I'm 52 and had hit 15 stone for the 3rd time and DW was 14 stone and both neeed to loose at least 3 stone each.
We have been using WW at home on the PC with a CD from WW. Despite having each other we have not had outside support you would get from a group.
I was 14 st. 2 lbs both before the recent trip to DLRP (all that walking must balance out the food.) and today weighed in at 13st. 10 lbs.
This thread is lovely the way everyone supports each other so you don't feel guilty if you slip.
It's not the chocs that gets us but the glass(es) of wine ( and nibbles you need to go with them) that lets us down.

Berwyn

Welcome Berwyn and well done for breaking the 13/14 stone barrier. Good for you :)

Well done to all those who have lost weight:sunny:

Can you believe that I actually FORGOT to weigh myself on Sunday? That is true!!!
I completely forgot about it until I read this thread!
Anyhow, the day of DH's brother's wedding is looming closer (Saturday) so I will just have to be extra good between now and then.:rolleyes1

Good luck to everyone for the coming week.

Well it just goes to show that you've so completely adopted the new healthy lifestyle that it no longer seems like a "diet" but a normal way of life which is why you forgot to weigh!!! :sunny:

I stayed the same (I won't tell you what I said ;) )

But my body fat percentage reduced again so I suppose that's something.

How do you know what your body fat % is? Probably some fiendishly clever machine at the gym!! On second thoughts I don't want to know - is it possible to be over 100% ????????????????????????????? :rotfl:

Di, it is indeed a fiendishly clever machine at the gym :rotfl:

But! I do know Special K are doing an offer at the moment for collect 2 tokens and send off for a body fat monitor (that's also a pedometer I think) for £4.99??

ETA - that is £4.99 not £499 as I originally posted!!!

Thanks Karen but do I really want and/or need a body fat monitor??? I think it might just roll over and die when it met me!!! :rotfl:
