Dis Health Check-In 13th June

Hi,
can I join this club pls? Ive lost 1st 1.5 lbs on the Slimming World diet in the last 6 weeks, I lost 3 lbs this week so Im really pleased. But I have a loooooooong way to go yet!! Good luck everyone this week!

How do find the SW diet ,some of the girls are on it and they seem to go up and down.?
 
Of course you can join in Jen, well done for this weeks 3 lbs and congrats on your big loss too (I have always been impressed with Slimming World, and although I haven't been for a few years, I find their diets easy to follow).

Well done you other Losers !!! (I mean this in the best possible way) Tracy for you 1 lb, Berwyn welcome too and well done on your loss, and Karen well done for not putting on.

Sometimes we beat ourselves up over losing/gaining a pound or so, but the big test is always when putting our clothes on, and thats where we see the biggest difference.

I find the SW diet really easy, Ive lost weight every week so far, I dont eat red meat so I do all green days and I love being able to eat unlimited pasta, potatoes, rice and quorn! :banana:
 
Jen, it doesn't sound too bad.
Trouble is with work the visitors bring in goodies for the patients (more than they can stomach usually) and they keep trying to offload them on to us. It's soooo tempting.
 
Hi everyone

I've put weight back on and only have 3 weeks 'til I go back to the nurse for my depo injection so I need to lose half a stone in 3 weeks (this was my aim to do in 12 weeks after the nurse told me at my last appointment I needed to lose at least half a stone - more like 2 and a half really!!).

My eldest daughter (11) has written me out an exercise plan (100 sits ups every morning plus other exercises each day) and is getting up early to make sure I do them! She is also limiting me to 1 glass of wine day - you don't know how much will power that is taking. Bless her, she really is trying to help me. It only started Monday though but I hope next week I can report a weight LOSS.

I'd really like to be back in to my size 12 clothes by my birthday in September - I need people to remind me of that though and to nag me!!!
 
It's only 2lbs a week Sarah :) (says he who has been going up and down for Years). If you're only being allowed 1 glass make sure it's a BIG one :rotfl:

Di Body Mass Index Monitor is what you need. If you are betwwen 20 & 25 on the scale you are in the right weight range.

I can use my finger and thumb to see what my body fat is doing and I can definitely "pinch more than an inch" :rotfl: :rotfl:
 
Now I'm even more depressed Berwyn!!! :sad: Why can't these things lie for once in a while? :crazy: Well it puts my ideal weight at a stone more than I'm aiming for so it can't be all bad!!! :confused3
 
These things really can frighten you if you take too much notice of them Natalie.
Don't woory Di, I was 10 stone getting married an when I got nearly back to that weight on a previous diet everyone kept whispering in Delyth's ear asking what was wrong with me. They all thought I had a really serious illness.
So now I'll be quit content with 12 stone. Right in the middle of the BM index.

Di - the only good thing I would say about the body fat monitor was that it gave me a boost that my percentage body fat continued to reduce even on the weeks when I lost no weight!

We should work out how much we've all lost so far in total, I bet it's lots.

I am at 1 stone 5 lbs so far
