DIS-functional Wonder Peeps Part III revisited

now I see the SSR, but nothing else

(keep it up red and I will post my ticker when SE gives it to me!!)

When you wake up tomorrow morning, you might see patches of frost on the ground or the shrubbery, particularly if you live in the western suburbs.

That is because temperatures tonight might even be colder than initially predicted, the National Weather Service in Miami said.

The forecast now calls for readings in the upper 20s and low 30s far inland (near U.S 27) in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Palm Beach County might see those temperatures west of Florida’s Turnpike, meteorologist Dan Dixon said.

um..that is me!!

Someone get me on da big floaty ting

Humm...new ticker from SE..."big floaty ting"...where r u going??

I don't know Annie. I see your ticker also.:thumbsup2 Maybe its a west coast thing??

Or maybe Leetle Pirates red hair gives her super powers too and since she is nearby it works for me!!??

DH has been mentioning Disneyland here quite a bit. HHHMMMM...DD has that week off school in February......

Oh Katie....

So Leetle Pirate has discovered the Teletubbies!!:happytv:

We are awaiting rain here today but it hit 70 this weekend!!:cool1: We do need more rain though.

Annie - good luck with the Drs. FWIW I think you are on the right track.

I can't see Annie's ticker either past the SSR.

Rick AND Gert's DH want to visit Disney? What is the world coming to?:rotfl:

Dipsy! Tinkwinky! La La! Po! OK, it's scary that I can remember them. If you need the original Barney tapes I think we have them all. :upsidedow Have a ton of VeggieTales too - they're my favorite. How can you not love a giant cucumber and lovable tomato?

:scared: That is VERY scary. I just remember colors... DS had a stuffed yellow one...who was that? Was that Po?! I didn't know they were still around!:upsidedow Are the Rugrats still around? Centrum still puts them on their kids vitamins. What is that about? I thought they were HISTORY.:confused3

Should I stop eating my peanut butter choc. chip Quaker granola bars??

Laa Laa was yellow. Cam was him (her) for Halloween before I knew he was a she. Oops!

Hey I have that red hair super power and I can't see it!

Yay, Betsy & Gert! Go before they change their minds. ;) Johnna if you want a quote throw a request in and I'll grab it for you. I'm bummed thinking how we were getting ready for our Feb trip last year at this time. Sigh! I have to wait til May this year for the first trip.

Annie we often have left over pasta. I cook it normally then just store it in a ziplock (or Glad or whatever) plastic container. I know my mother usually runs it through hote water to reheat it but I don't like it. I think that makes it soggy. I just nuke it.

Teletubbies on VHS. Don't do Barney here but thanks for the offer! And have not seen Rugrats in some time.

Sent DH a text about Disneyland. No answer yet but then he in on a plane.

Sprinkling here.

Neighbor cow is in our yard. Well on our side of the fence. I think our grass is greener. Slow day here at the ranch.:lmao:

UGH! Well, FL peeps, not sure if I will be making it to Delray this summer. My aunt just called my mom from the ER. she sounded very confused and kept saying "Im bad". I guess she passed out or had a seizure or something on her bathroom floor and she cant move her legs (she had trouble walking prior to this becasue of diabetes). But we are waiting to hear exactly whats going on and hopefully we will get a good report. But at this point, not knowing how she wil be tomorrow, I can't even guess how things will be 7 months from now. Awww man! :sad2:

It was 39 here last night with a high of 54 (lower than our normal lows)today. I had a thermometer in my bedroom and it was 51 inside when I got up. I couldn't believe it. I closed all my windows but haven't needed anything more than a sweat shirt until I went outside. The sun was beautiful but the wind was right out of the north and just like ice. Tonight is supposed to be equally as cold, but warming up to 64 tomorrow. :cheer2:

:grouphug: to Katie and family!

I have almost ALL of the Rugrats videos! (Yeah, my kids kinda took over the tv the minute they turned two - why do you think I'e never seen Survivor, America Can Dance (or whatever) or two dozen other things - it's ok though. I get a lot of reading done)

Bets: here's some:beach: for you and your mom. If it is that cold in FL what is it like in Montana?

katie 0 when are you going to disney? Rick and I are looking at the first of may now...

I loved when we went the first week in May a couple years ago...awesome weather, low crowds!

We are just gong to be there for the day/night of the 9th, then going on the podcast crusie on the 10th. I think you guys need to do the cruise! :thumbsup2

May is an awesome time to WDW or a cruise. Its perfecto. Right before kids get out of school. No lines!

Mornin' peeps!

Just got home from my Orthopedic appt. - I think it went well. Too soon to know if he's on the right path...but he said the Mobic alone is not strong enough. So instead he's putting me on a daily regimine of a combo of Arthritis Strength Tylenol (650 MG ea.) and 1 RX Naproxen combined. He said to either take 3 Arthritis Tylenol AND 1 Naproxen every 12 hours OR 2 Arthritis Tylenol and 1 Naproxen every 8 hours. But a combo every time. He agreed that the Aleve does not work the same (as well) as the RX for Naproxen. :cool1: He also gave me a shot of cortizone in my elbow and told me to get this elbow strap thing to wear. The one they showed me has a gel pac on it but he said they're expensive and not usually covered thru the insurance so said to look for one at Rite Aid or CVS or maybe at a tennis store. They showed it me and put it on me for a minute to show me how it would help my elbow. I found one without the gel pac on sale for $13 at Target. They didn't have the ones with the gel pacs...neither did Rite Aid. I'll try this other plain one for now. I do not have time to track down a tennis store today or tomorrow.

He also did not see anything specific on my X-rays regarding my tailbone problem. He said there IS something called Coccydynia which is simply pain in the tailbone. Not always clear WHY it happens or what causes it. He gave me a 2 week sample of Lyrica to try. He said he could give me more when this is gone if I need / want it. It is apparently some kind of nerve pain blocker med. (gotta look it up yet). He thought that might help with the tailbone problem since my description is more of a burning sensation he thought it might be a nerve ending thing.:confused3

So, all in all I feel like he hooked me up pretty good. At least he DID something for me other than say "Oh well..." like that other doc. did. Let's just hope that once the soreness wears off on this shot that my elbow feels better!!

OK, getting ready to head out to Costco soon with my neighbor....................gotta stock up for this weekend!

Page 2 is unacceptable!

Annie - do you have a good renal specialist for when your kidneys shut down!?:rotfl2: Seriously that sounds like alot of meds for one little body to handle.

Raining here. Gots to go get DD from the bus.
