DIS-functional Wonder Peeps Part III revisited

:cool1: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BETS & RICK!
Whatcha gonna do to celebrate?
(wait! with you two maybe I don't wanna know - LA LA LA LA not listening to Bets)

I picked a bad night to have trouble falling asleep. About 2:00am I think I finally drifted off. At 3:11, 5 or 6 cars or screaming teenagers came down the road. Girls screaming. Were they being hurt? Were they laughing? Was it really a pack of coyotes announcing a kill? And what was that "splat" splat"??? By 3:30 the police were there and the "brain trusts" thought they'd just drive away... into a cul-de-sac down the road.

Not sure if they caught anyone as the kids could have jumped into the canyons. Last I looked at the clock it was 4:17 only to be awakened at 8:30 by "Mommy, I'm huuuunnnnngry. I want pancakes" :sad2:

Gotta go check out the "splat" "splat" damage. From the looks of the egg cartons in the street, it doesn't look good. I hope those kids are "shouting at their shoes"* BIG TIME this monring.

*"shouting at your shoes" is the same as driving the porcelain bus

Happy Anniverary, Besty & Rick! :wizard:

Yikes, Cheri! Sounds like quite a night.

I promise I will finish my pics this week sometime!:rotfl: I kinda got burned out on them and had to lay off working on them yest. & today.

I went to my fav. nursery yest. afternoon. Got a small Crape Myrtle tree for my parents (they come down in 2 weeks with my Aunts - note to self - must clean house soon). Their anniv. is Sept. 5 so I figured I could call this their anniv. present. Dad keeps wanting one and they can't buy them in WV - nobody sells them. I gave him one once and it survived their winters but it dies off every year and starts over...so it never gets any bigger than a shrub.:confused3 Thought another variety might do better. I talked to their bug expert while I was there...bought a whole slew of products to spray on my yet to be caught in the act of eating plant varmits. The guy said from my description of the tomato plant problem that in addition to the moths I might have a Horn Worm - which he said are mean and could bite ME too!:scared: It's eating whole branches now! I found some worm poop. Well, I didn't know it was worm poop at the time, but that's what he told me it was. I am down to only 4 tomatoes.:sad2: He sold me some stuff that he promised would kill on contact...although I haven't seen my critter in action so I don't know where it's hiding...so I hooked that thing up to the hose and sprayed & sprayed & sprayed. The darned thing ate the one tomato I had that was actually starting to ripen!:headache: Grrrr. I am out to git it now!:rolleyes1

Happy anniversary Betsy & Rick.... And Happy Birthday AGAIN to Peter!

OK, going outside to sit on the patio for a little bit to see if I can revive my tan!

Thanks!!!

We had a pretty restful anniversary..I went to church this morning with Kate and then took a nap!! LOL..We had Nick this weekend so went to dinner at Longhorns and then Barnes & Nobles...Rick is taking Nick home now, so the celebrations are to be continued!
ahahhhhaaaa..that was for you cheri!! ps..check your text message..I got potentially good news!!!!

Happy Anniversary Betsy & Rick!!!

Katie I hope the party went well. Love the pictures!!

Annie, went to Chipotle. I was having serious withdrawals! Whew I feel better.

No word on the strike. They have 'extended' the current contract during negotiations. Sounds like the talks are going well, so I'm very hopeful that it will all work out. NO STRIKES ALLOWED! If they go out, all of Verizon Communications (union workers) from MASS to VA (East Coast) will be on strike.

Cheri--Tara says THANK YOU for the charger. She was so happy to get that package yesterday and get that cell phone charging again (She had been running to the car every chance she had to plug in the car charger we bought on the way home.)

Cheri--NO EGGS! Stinkin kids. I hope it wasn't too bad. YUCK!

Finally got the :laundy: done (thanks to Steve!) :worship:
Picked up some school supplies today during tax free days :teacher:

Trevor keeps talking about the cruise and everyone. He tells everyone who will listen about his cruise and all of his friends. :)

SE

:lmao:

A man who just died is delivered to a local mortuary wearing an expensive, expertly tailored black suit.

The female blonde mortician asks the deceased's wife how she would like the body dressed. She points out that the man does look good in the black suit he is already wearing.

The widow, however, says that she always thought her husband looked his best in blue, and that she wants him in a blue suit. She gives the Blonde mortician a blank check and says, 'I don't care what it costs, but please have my husband in a blue suit for the viewing.'

The woman returns the next day for the wake. To her delight, she finds her husband dressed in a gorgeous blue suit with a subtle chalk stripe; the suit fits him perfectly .

She says to the mortician, 'Whatever this cost, I'm very satisfied.. You did an excellent job and I' m very gr ateful. How much did you spend?' To her astonishment, the blonde mortician presents her with the blank check..

'There's no charge,' she says.

'No, really, I must compensate you for the cost of that exquisite blue suit!' she says.

'Honestly, ma'am,' the blonde says, 'it cost nothing. You see, a deceased gentleman of about your husband's size was brought in shortly after you left yesterday, and he was wearing an attractive blue suit. I asked his wife if she minded him going to his grave wearing a black suit instead, and she said it made no difference as long as he looked nice....................So I just switched the heads.'

(BET YOU DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING!!!):rotfl2:

popcorn:: Waiting for Beanos pictures.popcorn:: TRM and Bets the girls look so big ! They're both beautiful.
Looks like you all had a great time, sorry we missed out!:sad1:

But 8 days on the beach in North Carolina wasn't sooooo bad.

Happy anniversary to Betsy and Rick, yes, I remembered but wasn't home all afternoon after church to call.:bride: :cool2:  I ironed yesterday too, Cheri, all the clean clothes I washed :laundy: after the cruise. Some I didn't wear, but they needed to be pressed.

Happy Anniversary Betsy & Rick!!

Annie - go get those worms girl!!

SE - Fingers still crossed.

Lucky - HI!! Might be in Vegas in September!!

Anne - um...I luvs you but ironing clothes you did not even wear!? Girl...Downey Wrinkle Releaser...;) I know, I know, you LIKE to iron. Sick and twisted I tell you.

Beano - DD8 says she cannot wait for the DVD to get here. How is that little project coming along?:duck:

Cheri - still awaiting the update. No damage I hope. Any potatoes in the pool?:confused3

potatoes in the pool:lmao: nope no more of that

The kids and I walked around the "scene". Couldn't find anything. Nothing. There were two egg cartons in the street this morning but no sign of eggs anywhere w-e-i-r-d. It will be interesting to see if there is a repeat perfomance tonight. Cheri needs sleepytime.

Annie: my gardener told me she just pulled 8 worms off of my potato bushes that were as big and long as little finger.:scared: ok, eew. Glad those trees are down near the curb and not against the house.

Slowly but surely. This Mac is giving me fits. It just can't keep up with this new software and keeps crashing it. Must to be buying a new Mac Pro. Cha-ching!
Tell leetle McPeeper I will try to live up to her expectations. Might not be as funny as the last one though (at least not the kid's version!!)

Luckey - Nice to hear from you again! I will post pics one of these days. Really concentrating on the video project right now. Hoping to get it done before our AZ trip. Lord knows I'll be useless for an indefinite period of time after that... :(

Good joke there, Annie. :thumbsup2 My dad first told me that one a few years back. (Sorry, but I've heard them all, don't ya know...) :rolleyes1

Um, hi to everyone else I didn't say hi to! Back to editing I go...

OK, so here's a few peep pics (and a few misc. ones on CC). I tried to crop & lighten some of them and they look really grainy if you view them full screen on the slideshow (which takes a long time to load BTW). Not so much grain tho if you view them in a more normal 4x6 size. :confused3 Of course, some are better than others. SE - I think you could have a career on Broadway! And Betsy...ummm...Broadway's not quite what came to mind with that dollar bill poking out!:rotfl2:

Annie - do I have to be a shutterfly member to view?

I will attempt to download my pictures today. Actually did not take too many pictures this time.

Speaking of pics - Ophie - I attempted to right click on a few pictures from your DisGs site but it would not let me steal them. You have some sort of special security on those pups? Or should I be allowed to steal them?:rotfl: Right click should work yes? no? secret code?

Beano - Leetle McPeeps and Big McPeeps here will be very excited to see DVD. Please to be taking your time. Must not crash the Mac Daddy.
