It was bee-u-ti-full up there yesterday. They plan on staying open another 3 weeks. We may try to sneak back up there. We will be back at the ranch for some cattle work soon and since I get a baby pass maybe we can do lunch!!

Going out while we were away. That would have been horrible! Now the plumber is saying that I shouldn't use the water softener because it makes the heaters go out faster. Hmmm soft hair/skin/clothes vs. an extra 2 i=or 3 years on the heater... Steve is also celebrating his 40th birthday on this cruise (well, it's about 2 weeks before, but the cruise is the celebration.)
So at least 3 people are having their 40th birthdays on the cruise (woohoo, sounds like a fun night party, party, party!!)

No big planning for today! Took DS to the mall for new shoes & sandals & some shorts... It was time to get his feet measured...he has narrow feet like me & my Dad - so I take him in to Stride Rite every spring. His feet grow slowly and are so skinny he can't wear sandals from Target 'cuz they're too big & floppy. He had grown a whole size since I last got him measured tho so it was time!! Had the darndest time trying to find shorts. They have all of these really cute plaid shorts out there now...NONE anywhere to be found in slims OR with the adjustable waist inside. So he will not be a fashion statement this summer! Belts will help a bit with the couple pair of plain slims that I did find...drawstrings on the basketball shorts...skinny, skinny boy!

In the middle of all this Timmy calls, "Hey, Mom can you bring my guitar to school? I need it before noon." That kid is so funny. I missed exercise, I haven't been able to shower, I've got a painter repainting the ceiling in my bedroom (possible roof leak) and I'm gonna just hop over to the high school! Kid's gonna be the next Jay Leno, I'm tellin' ya!
