Since you are up on the door signs and fishys, I take it you've cruised once or twice before?

We'll be bringing along DS15 and DD10. Betsy also has a DD10 and DS14(?). Bets, how old is Nick again?

Anyway, I'm keeping a "scorecard" so if you want to PM me your stateroom# it will help with the FE stuff.

I have a daughter (17) and son (almost 7 at cruise time). We are doing a day pre-cruise at WDW, but when we get off the ship it's time to sadly head home to get back to work (yes, that sad four letter word.)

Cheri, did I ever give you our stateroom number? I finally got it.

I had a wonderful birthday week end with Betsy, Rick and Katy. The food at Buca de Peppas was way too much. I totally didn't expect them to sing Happy Birthday (the whole place!) They even set a 5 candle candlabra on the table. The only think missing was Liberace

I can't sew and be on the computer at the same time. I've got to finish these curtains because we have brown paper taped to the front windows. Our neighbors and us go to the same church. Brown paper covered windows means a church retreat. So the neighbors joke that we failed the retreat and we are still in retreat. Plus, I'm "prettying" up the house for DS17 HS grad party.

Sue Ellen, your kids are the same as mine. My DS6 is in kindergarten now. he can't swim after 5 years of lessons. I am "teasing" him that he will not be able to go on the cruise boat if he doesn't attempt to swim across the pool without stopping. He tends to stop for 10 minutes and take 2 more strokes.

Soccermom Cheri, no, we've never cruised before. We were going to cruise in 2001 but I got pregnant and lost my job. MIL is paying for this trip as a gift to DS17 HS graduation. I am just into researching and being "in the know". Since MIL is paying, I have no idea about our stateroom numbers. When should she find out? She is a CC member. This is her 2nd Wonder after doing 2 Magics. She is not into doors and fishys.

BTW, we eat at 6pm. MIL told me that.

How did we get the name 'PEEP's? Is there a logo for the 'PEEP's that I should incorporate for our door sign and fishys? Please send it my way!!

Also is anybody doing the photopass share in our group?

Back to sewing!! I've got to finish 6 panel sheers on 1 window and 4 sheers on the other. Then I have to do the actual curtains, aaahhhh!!!

Photopass? Um nope. I didn't know that was available for cruises. Of course, I'm really sure what it is in the first place - or maybe the rest of the Peeps are hiding this piece of highlly secret information from me.

As for the logo... I can either send you the file or you can copy one from one of our signatures. There are actually two logos, but the one in most of our signatures is the "official" one


How did we get the name Peeps? RonnieJo's husband Beano named the thread so he gets the credit. (It's more "Me and My Gang" than the little marshmallow yellow chickies.)

If your MIL has a printed reservation, the stateroom numbers are printed on there. You can also log on to DCL with the reservation # and find it there. No worries though. We won't need it for a bit yet.

Where are you from? We're from both coasts and from New York to Florida. and can we call you something other than "MMCD"?It might be a little strange to say "Hi MMCD" on board.

Ok, so it was about 76 degrees here today...sunny and beautiful. Yesterday I had put out the patio furniture, so today I decided to sit out and read for a while. 1 1/2 hours later, I am now the proud owner of a sunburn! Redheads!!!!

I'm May from the big "D" of Texas. I'm the 2nd M of MMCD(T). T was a miracle surprise baby that came after us being a DVCer and a DISboarder

The photopass or the pictures on CD. I don't know how much they cost on the cruise. But aren't they like $100 at WDW. You get the CM to take your pictures. They give a picture log#. You get online and choose which pictures you want. I saw on the budget board that some people are doing this in the parks.

I figured that if there were an interested party of 4 or 5 on this 4 day Wonder, then we can split on the CD cost.

I thought peeps was short for people but I wanted to make sure. Please can someone PM me one close to 8.5 x 11 size without names?

I'll have to get DH to ask his mom for the info. With that info, can I log on on the 90 day mark to book Palos?

I finished the 6 panel sheers!! Now to hem the other window sheers.

May! That's better! Tinkryansmom also has a screen name that she chose before she was done with the baby thing! Her baby is having her first birthday the week of our cruises....Is it the 25th? She is not booked on the 3 n YET but we're still hoping!

Sorry, no photopass for us....just another way to spend $... (I just got laid off on 2/29 so am being extra super stingy right now with the way I look at everything! But we're still planning to go since the 4 n cruise is paid for with our DVC points and we already had the airfare and an excursion booked before...and the balance due on the 3 n. is manageable from our tax refund since we're booked in one of the Cat 10 SPH rooms!! I am just thankful right now that we have the DVC to use for this and that we booked EARLY and got a "cheap" room!!!)

Maybe SueEllen or CamColt will know more about when you can book Palo...since it's your MIL that are the CC members? (Since it's not you that's a CC member you might have to wait for 75 days?! )

As Cheri said - our peeps pretty much have the country covered...some of our peeps are in FL and some are in CA...then the rest of us cover the NE (MD, MA, NY & VA) and now TX! We had someone else from TX pop in and do a post or two but then she disappeared...and someone else from MD who also didn't stick around! Hope we don't scare you off!

(PS) The rest of us are all doing the late dinner seating....SE is supposed to get us all hooked up together!

Hi!! I am Betsy! 38 (at sailing) DH (48) and DsS is 15...DD just turned 10
We are one of the crazies sailing back to back and are having a Disney Fairy Tale Vow Renewal on the 25th. My mama is also traveling with us.
Annie is in the room I was in last cruise..I am in the exact same one but on the port side this time (5520) Mom is across the hall from us

Easter weekend was good...Rick bought me a new KitchenAid mixer Friday because my 15 year old one died. Got 20% off plus a $30 mail in rebate so it turned out to be cheaper than the smaller motor mixer!

SOMEONE!! SUEELLEN!!! I need to know when the 105 days is for the 2nd cruise?? Is it April 5th?? Must be paid by then so I can book excursions for 2nd cruise...then I have to wait till 90 days for the 1st trip...

Hey guys, you gotta hear about my dream last night. I was on the ship at like a meeting thing on the first day. A waiter walks in with a bunch of fanfare and presents me with a folder. Everyone is watching! I open it up and it seems the Peeps have surprised me with signing me up for the "Wine Tasting" event on the last night at 10:30 (yes I read the time on the packet). Ok, 1 I dont like wine, 2, I wanted to go to the thing at Diversions on the last night. But I dont want to be rude and insult the Peeps after they were so nice for giving me this gift. Now I'm all stressed out and don't know what to do.

So the moral of the story...sign me up for the Martini Tasting!

And RJ, sunburn huh? I just got in from a jog...I think I have wind burn! I want summer too!!!!

What's the "thing at Diversions on the last night"?!

They do it on the 7 night and 4 night. One of the CMs (Ian) told us they were doing it on the 3 night on our last 3 night, but then they didnt. DH and I ended up waiting in Diversions watching bull riding, ROFL!

Anyway, I think it was called Pub Night or something. But the funniest thing is they get a lot of the cruise staff and put on a skit "If I Weren't Upon The Sea". When we saw it a couple cruises ago, we just laughed and laughed the whole time...tears running down your face, not being able to breathe kind of laughing. I was kicking myself for not having the video cam with me then.

But I am hoping to see it again...it will probably be on Wednesday night,not technically the "last night" if they dont do it on the 3. I must not have realized that in my dream.

Bets - 105 day mark for cruise #2 is April 10th.

Mental Note: do not invite Katie and Peter to Happy Hour as she no likey da vino. But sign up for martini tasting to make sure she and Annie make it back to their rooms. And figure out a way to break Katie of that nasty "running/jogging" habit. Poor girl must be going down the street slopping her drinks all over the place.

RJ: tell me they WASH those stone loungers inbetween each person - RIGHT?

Annie: the last night in Diversions, the staff puts on a skit. If you've never seen it before, it's pretty darn funny. It's also a great place to meet up one last time before they toss us kicking and screaming off of the boat.

ok, it's all blurry - the point is almost all of us were there (but no Johnna, Betsy, Anne) and having a good time.

NO NO NO NO!!!

I'm sorry. I refuse. (My kids had all of the MMR stuff, so they are safe. Say it with me now: T and C wll stay healthy. They will not miss school. T will not miss tests. C will not be any more cranky than normal.) Of course, since, I have no idea what measles look like, my kids could have 'em and I'd never know.
