It was on the Today show this morning....because people aren't getting their kids inoculated anymore..there have been outbreaks..they mentioned San Diego by name!!

Wow!! When I was registering kids for kindergarten, we only had 1 child not innoculated for "being against parental beliefs" (or however it's stated). I guess the docs are finding, too, that the shots we all got as kids are wearing off. I HATE SHOTS. MOMMY!

Anyone watching the "John Adams" series on HBO..wow..it is really good..Abigail Adams was having her children inoculated for smallpox..they just stuck a piece of a pox in your skin....*GAG*

SOMEONE!! SUEELLEN!!! I need to know when the 105 days is for the 2nd cruise?? Is it April 5th?? Must be paid by then so I can book excursions for 2nd cruise...then I have to wait till 90 days for the 1st trip...

4/10 for the 7/24 sailing and 4/6 for the 7/20 sailing is 105 days

90 days is 4/25 for 7/24 and 4/21 for the 7/20

That reminds me--I have to pay for the rest of my cruise. YUCK--pay that and the IRS at the same time. oh no!

The photopass or the pictures on CD. I don't know how much they cost on the cruise. But aren't they like $100 at WDW. You get the CM to take your pictures. They give a picture log#. You get online and choose which pictures you want. I saw on the budget board that some people are doing this in the parks.

The cruise line does not have PhotoPass, instead they print your pictures daily for you to purchase. They offer packages as well, and here is what they had last fall when I cruised:

Since you have never cruised before you can book Palo/Spa/Excursions at 75 days prior to travel.

Yeah, I saw that too...the Autism thing seems out of control now doesn't it? But still, no proof not to get vaccinated! DH is watching John Adams...I've popped in & out of it...I caught that smallpox bit the other day - that was downright NASTY!!! ewwwwwwww ewwwwwwwww ewwwwwwww!

And figure out a way to break Katie of that nasty "running/jogging" habit. Poor girl must be going down the street slopping her drinks all over the place.

So I hate to share my secret for pictures (because then it won't work anymore) but when the lines are long we wait until dinner starts (usually this works best when we are in Lumiere's or Triton's) then after we order our appetizers and entrees, we watch and the lines are usually non-existent then, we excuse ourselves from the table for a few minutes, and get pictures, then come back to dinner. Works well most of the time.

Katie, I'm with you for the martinis. I love martinis (the more flavorful ones, not so much the traditional ones.) Between those and wine...whew....

Did we know this? I didn't know this! I'm sure I didn't!! What's his specialty? Can he do anything with Captain Morgan?! Am trying to decide just how big of a bottle I want to bring onboard. Since we don't have any sea days I'm thinking I might not need such a big one...and I already told DH not to leave me alone with the Captain and you guys or I would end up on YouTube!!

Got a notice today from the IRS about this "Economic Stimulous" check! Anxiously awaiting May! I suppose they'll make us report it as income NEXT year tho 'eh?!

I finished the sheers of the 2 windows. Next, I have to make the velvet panels. I'm being lazy and not line them. I'll hang it up and then decide to redo it because it needed a lining after all. This may take days.

It wasn't worth it to her. So I just have to convince DH to get his mom to give me the reservation info so that I can log on and reserve Palo on May 2. She is CC. Why do I have to wait for the 75 day date? Does DCL know I am a first timer and not my MIL making the ressie?

When I get my stateroom assignment, who do I give it to to add my name on the worksheet. Will I get a copy of who is who worksheet for this peep-mob. I am getting lost of names and kids.

May - I was wondering the same thing about the CC thing - if the ressie is in your MIL's name how would they know if it was you or not? But it doesn't matter if MIL is waiting for the due date to pay the balance (which is understandable that she doesn't want to pay early) you'll have to wait for the 75th day. If you logon or call ASAP I think you should be able to get ressies. They have to hold some openings for the first time cruisers to book at 75 days! BTW, in case you didn't already know, Pirate Night (with the special menu) is on the 3rd night so if you don't want to miss that then you'll probably not want to book Palo for that night!!

To see the shore excursions on the DCL website you go to "Ports" then select Nassau or CC and a little dropdown menu will open where you can select "shore excursions" for that port. If you click on the "Learn more" arrow on each one it will open up another window with more details about the excursion and will show you the price for it! Then you can budget for what you want to do!
