OK. Joke time.

Lawyers should never ask a Mississippi grandma a question if they aren't prepared for the answer.
In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know me?' She responded, 'Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you'll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.'

The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, 'Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?'

She again replied, ' Why ye s, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a
youngster, too. He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone, and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him.'

The defense attorney nearly died.

The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said,
'If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I'll send you both to the electric chair.'

I'm sorry, I thought that was kinda funny:lmao:

Annie - I hope you figure the PE6 out before you blow a fuse. Remember, you have a few months to make it happen. Then just jump on the DIS and ask someone to do it for you!!

I may end up using crayons!:rotfl2:

if you answered yes to any or all of these questions:

You're ready to go on a cruise!!!:woohoo:  :yay: :dance3:

um...BRRR!!!!
It was 85 yesterday..we have a high of 63 today!! Suppose to be a high of 64 tomorrow!
Just when mother nature tells you that spring is here she slams you with frost!! We have a freeze warning in our city tonight!

Sorry for your "cold spell" Betsy! 85 is just about PERFECT I think! I noticed on the weather report that this week our "average" daytime temps climb to 50 for this time of year!!:woohoo: I saw a couple of Robins a couple days ago (always a sign of spring when they come back) AND I noticed that my daffodils are starting to pop up! Soon I should see the tulips push thru too!! I ordered our mulch the other day...it comes NEXT weekend! WOW! Spring will be here soon now! Will be busy, busy later in March!

Ahh...72 degrees here. Slight breeze.

Finally!!

I have to order mulch. But I want the men to come with it to spread it in the yard. Little Pirate Linden I don't think will be too patient with mulch moving.

Did anyone decide the Palo brunch question??:confused3

Cheri - do you have all of our door signs finished yet!?;)

Hmm...guess I have to go do laundry. Bleech. Where have those house elves gone to now??

Just about...:3dglasses starting on "project" #3 this weekend I hope. Are you ever gonna send me pictures? Please to be taking time from repaving the driveway and wallpapering the bathrooms and send some. Of course, I could make up some of my own <mua haha>

Hey ya'll just popping in before I warm up the leftover meatloaf for dinner! I stopped on the way home at Borders & got myself a book (30% off) called "The Missing Manual" for this silly PE6. I had asked DH this afternoon if I could download a trial version of Publisher & he said he doesn't think my old 'puter will be able to handle it. :sad1: But he didn't mention getting a new one again tho either.:rolleyes1 OK, so looks like I'm stuck with the software - may as well get a book to use, right?! NOW. WHEN to have time to play around?!:confused3 Cross your fingers this book holds some magical answers for me! I still think I bought the wrong stuff...but too late now!:headache:

Meanwhile, trying to decide if I should even bring up the whole "secret verandah" cabin thing to DH again...it's still there... But do I really want to pack up & move for just 3 n.? We don't have a sea day...we don't smoke any more...so is it necessary? No. NICE, yes. Necessary, no. Tell me to wise up girls!! I booked that dolphin thing...still thinking we'll do Atlantis too....THAT day alone is the diff. in the price between my SPH room & the verandah...

no...it is 60 during the day...
TONIGHT we have freeze warning...it is 51 on my patio right now~!

Hey gang, I have returned....with a lot of catching up to do. You guys were busy.

So, despite the raning and downright cold we had a great time in not so sunny CA. Besides Disney we went to Hollywood on Saturday and then San Diego Monday before our return flight. The big excitement came Sunday morning. We trudged out to DL about 7:30 (for a little of EE) in the rain. After a few rides, we were heading toward Tomorrowland Terrace for breakfast when lo and behold....WE GOT DREAMED!!!! :yay: Ok, it was just the Fast Passes for both parks (and there were hardly any lines to boot), but still it was something! It only took 6 trips during this "year" of a million dreams I finally got one. :woohoo:

Hopefully I will have pictures soon...may not be until the weekend when I have time to get them together. Having a week of work to catch up on and unpacking to do is not fun. I did get all 7 loads of laundry done yesterday at least. :laundy:

I'm off to bed now. I still have to catch up on the jet lag and the 2 hours of sleep Monday night on the plane ride home. Im zonked!

I vote no. The idea of packing knowing I'm going to have to pack a few days later... no thanks. But, that's JMO - BTW: "necessary" What is this word "necessary"?

:yay: Yay! Yay! Yay! :yay: That's very cool....July will be our 3rd trip in a year...wonder what our odds will be to get "dreamed"? :lmao: OUR luck they will catch us on our way out of our last park on our last day & we would have to give them away! :rotfl: Last trip we had fast passes for Test Track & we were in line & the thing broke down. So they finally said leave - go away - it's gonna be down awhile. So then we decided we were just gonna leave Epcot altogether & I was trying to spot a family of 3 to give them to 'cuz they would be good later too. :headache: Of course I picked this family that didn't speak English! Oh man! The language barrier! They thought I was asking for THEIR passes and I was like no, no here take ours we're leaving! I don't know if they ever figured out what was going on...I was just like here...take them and we left!

Katie & family got DREAMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo: sah-weet!

Sorry the weather didn't cooperate for ya, but glad you had a good time anyway.

I kept waiting for the "Dream Team" to tackle me and give me something grand. Alas, we got no love. But had a great time anyways. I figure we got passed over 'cause we had a baby - we can combo the fast pass with the kid pass and go twice anyways so it's all good!

Glad you had fun even if the weather did not cooperate.

OK off to start the dreaded taxes.:scared:

Talk to you all in April.:lmao:

Taxes. Ooh a dirty word if ever I heard one! I almost have the package ready for the accountant. Then it is the wait for the phone call. "Hello, Mrs. Knebel, you need to send in $13,945,954.56, one of your children and your right arm." (good thing I'm left handed.) :dance3:

What's for dinner? Needing some new ideas...

Dinner! Chicken enchiladas!

Really easy recipe. Chicken, sour cream, cheese, salsa or enchilada sauce. :woohoo:

 DH is home again today.:headache:

Getting ready to go pick up Ryan and take her to riding lessons. Thank goodness no Brownies today.

Everyone get their girl scout cookies!? If you need some let me know I would be happy to send them to you and get them out of my living room.

Forms for Girl Scout Day Camp. insert smilie that turns red and catches on fire here6 pages for a 4 day day camp!? Geez o Petes this is ridiculous.
