Morning ya'll. Yay Betsy!

Stopped by DSW on the way home from the pool / dropping DS off at camp 'cuz I had a $5 off coupon. Too early. They didn't open until 10:00. So I went to Kohl's 'cuz they're like open 24/7! Found some jammies that I think might pass for "bar dancin' PJ's" should I decide to partake in that event. Since I do not dance the only way that's happening is if I've spent some quality time with the Captain that day!

Yesterday I pulled out all the outfits that I think I am bringing for the dinners on the cruise (and Jiko/Boma or whichever). Do you think I could get by wearing nice Bermuda length shorts in Jiko or should I stick to capris if we keep our ressie and go there?! I think with all the luggage restrictions that I've decided to only bring the one dress I got for Palo. Who else besides CamColt is planning dresses at all?! I could change my mind once I start packing - I have a couple of other dresses I could bring...but I have to see if there's room in the garment section thingy of DS's suitcase. I am trying to avoid bringing a separate garment bag. If I only bring one dress for me and a sport coat & dress shirt for DH I think I can avoid that extra bag. I don't know. If I bring the garment bag it will have to be a carry-on & I don't want to use the carry-on limit for a garment bag. I am going to bring one carry-on empty if I can - that's the one we will use to take the beer onto the ship and then will use it for "overflowage" on the way home!

Yep. My little fishies are staying in a school until we get to Flor-ee-duh. At this point its just easier since I don't need one more errand to run to mail them all out!

Lets see just spent all morning trying to find hiking shoes for DD ending up spending $150 at REI in Stockton. My mom and stepdad arrive here Wed night. Neil has a business trip to SD Wed also. Leetle Pirates 1st birthday party is Saturday. Gotta finish pulling that together - note to self - order the cake. Then gotta pack DH and DD for the annual McDougald family pack trip. Yep think "put your stuff on a mule and hike". They leave Saturday the 26th. So gotta have that stuff out and ready for MIL & FIL to take it back to ranch with them from Leetle Pirates birthday this weekend. Then laundry from the cabin weekend. Pack for the cruise. Oh lets see Ryan loosened a bracket on her braces gotta have that looked at. DH needs his haircut rescheduled. Find time for a facial and pedicure. OH and plan and execute DH 40th birthday dinner. Hmmm...it that all???

In...what...10 days with a 6 am flight out on the 18th. No problem. On Friday night you will find me drinking heavily by or possibly in the pool at the Radisson!!!

i tried to make little magnets today..r u people going to think its weird if my name and my town are on your magnets?? How am I suppose to do this??

I was at Walmart the other day and they had seashells with "ROYAL PALM BEACH" printed on them...trust when I say, you almost got those if I didn't think you all would call me tacky

Off to wine 'fridge to make sure a little sumpin is chilling for mama - after I pick up DD from friends house and deliver a meal to family of new hatchling, of course. Plenty of time to chill up I should think.

Well, DSW was open this afternoon AFTER I picked DS up from camp! Found a pr. of Ugg flip flops on 30% clearance! They are so-o soft!

Miss Cheri - you crack me up! Leetle fishy came to the front porch with a ring of the doorbell. I didn't go running out to check the mailbox at the same time tho...figuring just more bills & junk...then got the mail on the way in from picking up DS. And lo & behold there was Part II!! Thanks! Very useful indeed!

Gert - u need a bottle of the Captain to help ya out!

I am officially in stressed-out mode. Plumber coming at 6:45am, window washer at 7:00, workout class at 8:30, call for dumpster dump/arrange stuff w Perfect Gift/PTA deposit at bank across town/and two more tings I can't
'member right now - and that's just tomorrow morning (and i haven't even opened a bottle 'o vino!)

There is still much clothes shopping to be done. I'd rather pull out my eyelashes than shop with either of my kids so this particular task will be hard to accomplish.


Here's something interesting: this afternoon I went out to check (whatever) in the back yard and noticed something in the pool that looked like a white rock. It was a potato. A partially peeled baking potato! (I don't normally have those in the house BTW)

Suitcase came out again. I didn't really put it away when I got home from SC, just "out of the way". I also went to Wings to get my contribution for the fishy things, what ever they are. Betsy hasn't fully explained to me. Mothers are always the last to know!
I have spent the evening reviewing over 600 wedding photos Kathy sent. Most of them I am not interested in of course because there are so many repeats of same pose. I am getting the one Betsy posted of the family group. Just wish other daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren were there. Too bad.
