We run into people at Disneyland every time -and- on our first Disney cruise, when we went into Studio Sea to gather for an excursion, I sat down right next to a little girl who went to Bab's and T's elementary school.

In Jan. we met a guy at VWL bus stop who lives about 10 min. from us and we saw some people at MCO wearing sweatshirts from our local HS and one time my aunt sat down on a bench to wait for a bus at ASM and there was one of her students next to her...

And then of course there is my cousin, Gertrude!

I think we will wait & see if it's on the ship rather than dish out $10 pp to see it. I think that it should be playing at some point...

If I can't find my FE gadgets, then it will be mints since gum is already taken. BTW, not to ruin the fun - DS works with a lot of Engineering Consultant companies. He's collected a lot of their gift gadgets. That's what I am giving away. You can regift and trade amongst yourselves. I was always planning to do this long before I joined the peeps forum.

I am eating celery right now for breakfast. I don't like it. I want to dip it in Marie's Poppy seed salad dressing. I started eating them on Friday morning. I was gagging because I thought it was spicy. DS17 was eating celery with me. He thought I was crazy for saying it was spicy. He corrected me that what I am tasting is bitter flavor not spicy. But I'm going to be a good girl and eat it plain.

Yippy, DS10 found clothes in his closet for a pirate outfit. No sewing for this one!! DS6 doesn't want a fluffy shirt anymore. I made him a tricorn hat from felt that I had leftover from a project. Boy were my measurements off. Since losing our 5 bedroom house with my own sewing room, I can't find any of my nice sewing tools/gadgets. I only have to buy him a white t-shirt.

I stayed up till 2am sewing my FE. I am alomst done. I just need to sew the ends and put a tyeing thing on top. I am not doing dowels. I have metal flat rods that I am sewing into it. I am close to the 36" length not including the tying part. I am 8.75" width.

DS17 is taking DS10 & DS6 to watch Wall-E after church today. I told my family awhile back that since Wall-E was going to play on the cruise that we will just watch it there. Of course, no one is listening to me. I told DH that DS17 is wasting money and not working enough to save for college. But I am going to see this as a bonding thing for the boys.

I do hope Indy will still be on the boat. I want to watch it again!

So what are we suppose to wear on the 2nd night? Is this suppose to be formal/dress up night? I have to do serious packing for me in the next 2 days. Our friends want us to go camping with them even if we just come up Fri night and leave Sun. Most of them are leaving Wed night.

Happy sweet 16 Miss Kimmy!


I wanted to sit outside for a bit but it's been pretty cloudy on & off all day. Everytime I tried to go out it clouded up. And of course when I came in the sun came back out. I wanted to get DS out there too for some sun but not to be. So I gave up and have been piddling around with some door signs and just polished my toes. I make SUCH a mess of them! I am just not steady enough and can't get close enough or something. I have been debating if I should splurge on a pedicure before vacation. We'll see.

That is too funny, both Cheri & Annie. Twice now we hve run into kids in Cam's class while we have been in AK. Another time we put the kids in Camp Dolphin to go to Shulas and a kid in Cams class was in the camp with them. Unreal!

Cool quiz Cheri. I got 9 out of 10, but I have to admit...I guessed on some. Lucky guesses! As a side note, on our cruise in 05, Richard Sherman was on board with us. It was so cool listening to him talk about the songs he wrote, and how we worked with Walt...truly a Disney Legend. The funniest was seeing him getting in the hot tub...he came to the pool in a robe and slippers.

Just got home from daughters last night and the security guard handed me two UPS packages. MY DOCS ARRIVED WHILE I WAS GONE. I sat down this afternoon and read all the posts for the 3 weeks I was in SO. Carolina. Why did Betsy get two sets of docs and I only got the 3 day and 4day If she got two sets, I should have also since I am involved in the shuffle of cabins.
The wedding was beautiful. All my girls, 3 granddaughters, 2 daughters looked beautiful. Maybe Betsy will post some more pictures.
