Marci: She walked in late. "I'm sorry. Did I miss anything?" She handed her pass to the teacher.

August: "Only the entire explanation of the school's rules and policies, classes, and a few other general things."

Carter: As she assumed Marci would be a distraction, she (and her Starbucks cup) ran into the class, motioning her friend with another hand.
Natalie: With a similar cup in her own hand, she sauntered in. She and Carter rushed to the back and took their seats.

August: "Good morning, ladies, a few more tardies and all three of you will end up in detentions. Please take a seat."

OOC: Got you. The teachers at my school don't directly handle discipline due to tardies (there's a special brance in administration for it) so I always assumed that if a student shows up with a pass, the teacher doesn't report it as a tardy.
