August: "Everyone, please be seated." He smiled when they did. "If no one has said it to you yet, welcome to the Dis Dream Academy. My name is Mr. August Krei, you can call me Mr. K. Before you ask, yes, I am related to Alistair Krei, my uncle, no I am not evil and careless. I get asked that a lot. Mostly you'll see me as your science teacher, but I also look after Homeroom. For most of the year Homeroom is basically Morning Study Hall, but for the first week or so it will serve as Orientation. Let's begin. Everyone has the same schedule, as there are so few students admitted, so you will all have the same lunch hour, from 12 to 1, and be in the same class at the same time, but each grade will have its own course material, at least in Science and Math, your English and History classes may do the same things, and for the non-academic courses - Art, Choir, Music, Theatre, PE, and Technology - everyone will have the same course material. Here in Homeroom, there is no real teaching. This time can be used to finish homework or participate in another free time activity, and the School Announcements will happen during this time. If you want to be part of the Announcement Crew, application packets are on the table over there," he said, pointing. "Now, rules. Each teacher may have their own set, but here are the general things you SHOULDN'T do: stealing, fighting, arriving late to class, bullying, using your phone during instruction, swearing, skipping class, talking out of turn, et cetera. Most of these things, you'll get a warning and if it happens again then you get a detention for it. Talking back, insubordination, or otherwise becoming a major problem is really the only way of getting into enough trouble to get sent down to the office and/or have your guardians called. But I don't epect you all to get into much trouble. General idea here, you give respect and you'll get it. Now, are there any questions so far?"

Haru: No questions, she didn't really want to call attention to herself. But she found herself disliking Mr. K instantly... Hiro had told her about Mr. Allistair Krei, and she knew she was probably judging prematurely, but she couldn't really help it...

Marina: "Anderson. My name is Marina Anderson. And I was wondering where the theatre class room is?"

Marina: "Anderson. My name is Marina Anderson. And I was wondering where the theatre class room is?"

August: "Hello Marina. Miss Anderson, the theatre classroom, dressing rooms, storage facilities and the auditorium itself are all on the first floor. Are there any other questions?"

Marina: Marina nodded and sat back. She pulled a notebook from out of her bag and started doodling.

If we include homeroom, there are eleven classes, and 1 hr for lunch. So I guess classes will have to be short.

August: "If there are no other questions, then the rest of the class is your time. The first real class of the day is Art."

OOC: I am putting classes in order of people signing up for them. So, we have Homeroom, then Art, then Choir, and then Science. There's no classes after that, no other teachers yet. Lunch will be after the sixth class in line ideally. That being said, I know I won't get seven more teachers, so I may have to drop some classes.

Cerulean:She knew what art was. It could be an quite exciting experience.

Marci: She walked in late. "I'm sorry. Did I miss anything?" She handed her pass to the teacher.

Atarsi:she stared at the girl that just walked in.She though that the girl who walked in looked familiar very familiar. Like she had seen her at a family gathering or reunion.

 

[Newsies]

Carter: As she assumed Marci would be a distraction, she (and her Starbucks cup) ran into the class, motioning her friend with another hand.
Natalie: With a similar cup in her own hand, she sauntered in. She and Carter rushed to the back and took their seats.

Atarsi:She then realized that the new girl was her cousin Marci she waved.

Marci: She waved back. The girl look familiar. She walked up to her and talked a little quietly, "Um, I feel like I know you."

Marina: Marina rolled her eyes as she listened to the conversation between Melody and Atarsi unfold. Is this really happening right in front of me?
