DIS Divas Trip! (old thread, see first post for link to new one)

With the GIANT clue all I can think about is the sorcerers hat at DLH. I do love that hat though.

I have been super MIA lately! Here is a brief run-down: Work became hell - my boss undermined me and my classroom one too many times and also allowed a student to get away with spreading a rumor about me around campus that almost cost me my job. He interrogated students (who spread the rumor) before he spoke with the other adult that had been present. So basically, stress at work became too much. Last Tuesday three things happened almost simultaneously - my husband sent my boss an email about his mistreatment of me and the situation, my OB put me on disability, and two of my other bosses offered me paid leave for the rest of the school year So since then I have been on leave (until this Friday) and then next Monday my disability will kick in. The best part is that now I will get money during the summer when I typically do not, plus it is more than I make normally.

Last weekend was my first baby shower and Cynthia, Holly, and Nicole were there to celebrate with me. My mom just loved them so I am trying to convince her to join us for the next trip! My princess was spoiled and was given so many adorable Disney outfits - including a super cute Snow White dress. I cannot wait to dress her up.

Hubby put in a job app for a position in Anaheim. Can you imagine? <swoon> The company has offices all over CA, but this particular position in in their Anaheim office. I think I'd be going down to visit on a regular basis. LOL

I had a great holiday weekend and wished I had today off . We went to the beach and then stayed at the new Legoland hotel. It themed awesome and is great for kids. I posted some pics on FB but I'll post a couple here for kicks since no one really posts pics here anymore:

Katie - love the Legoland photo. I have the same photo with my DS on the dragon roller coaster from when we went! And love the hotel - it looks so cool!! I so would have stayed there if it had been built! Glad to see you looking so happy!

Well I think after two weeks my giant cold is finally breaking up!! I am so tired of blowing my nose and coughing! I felt bad for my poor roomies at MouseAdventure - but at leasts I "think" I am on the mend!

That sucks you had to go through all that at work. Glad it all worked out in the end though. Why did your OB put you on disability? Is everything okay?
