Maybe the characters weren't stopping by because you didn't have kids with you. Maybe they figured the adults were just there for the food? But that kinda sucks cause you pay for the character meal to see characters, so they should be entitled to stop at every table.

Great photos though, even if they are of them passing. And the food photos are making my mouth water. Yum!

After breakfast, we headed over to do a picture at the Partner's Statue together. Ty took this picture on our way over.

We headed towards ToonTown, but decided to look and see how long the wait was at the Princess Fantasy Faire....it said 30 minutes, so we got in line. When it was our turn, we go inside to see Tiana, Ariel & Jasmine. Our first stop was Tiana.

I thought it would be cute to have Tyler down on one knee as if he was proposing.....so he did that with Ariel. I was disappointed to find out that the photopass photographer didn't take that picture. Maybe they're not allowed to do that?? They were standing right there with me when he did it...so not sure why.

After our tour of PFF, I took a pit stop & Ty took some pics from around the area as he waited.

No, they were coming up on the patio area & passing all the tables, even the ones with kids. I put the blame on the character manager....they're the ones telling them where to go. I saw a number of families complaining that the characters hadn't be coming to their tables....so it wasn't just us. Just an off day for them.

The trick was we went during MM and it was PERFECT. I know a lot of people say why waste your MM but for us we had just done it the day before and it only took us about a half hour to eat and so we still had some time and the BEST part was NO ONE was there. We got TONS of pics with characters and got some with ALL of them. I think it is just the timing.

It wasn't horrible.....just a little different experience then our norm. I felt bad for the tables with kids at it on the patio with us......the characters were there....just not making the route up by us. We got to see a few & they were friendly & posed for pics, gave high fives & such.

Timing also can play into it......one time we went at 9:30 & the breakfast ended at 11.....we usually stay for the 90 mins allowed unless we've seen all the characters......we saw 14 characters at Minnies. You had the ones still out & the new batch coming in.....we thought that was perfect!!

Ty and I headed into ToonTown.....a fun place for pictures & to check out. Make sure when you go, you push doorbells, pull doorknobs, etc to see what happens.....lots of hidden gems in this area!!

The music started up & the horns stuck out from the thing on top of City Hall....I had never seen that before. Not sure if it was the top of the hour or because it announces when someone is coming out the doors.

We wandered down to Chip and Dale's Treehouse.

We went between Donald's Boat & Goofy's House and got pics of the waterfall.

We also took pics of the really cool light on Goofy's house.

Goofy's yard is a fun place for little kids to play....here's a couple of the things adorning his yard.

I think you're not alone in missing things in ToonTown.....since it only has the 2 rides and one of those being for little kids.....this "land" tends to be ignored by many. If they do go in...they only go as far as Roger Rabbit's CarToon Spin.....so they miss out on all the details that go into this area. It's lots of fun back there!!!

How did Anthony's birthday go?

He had a great time. We surprised him by taking him out to pizza and having another family join us that has 5 kids that our kids are friends with. They got to play in the big play area, eat pizza, have cake & watch Anthony open his gifts. He got a lot of Star Wars toys that I picked up in Disneyland.

This was his cake!!

Today is the 3rd anniversary of the twins adoption!! Their adoption went thru on Mike's & My 25th wedding anniversary while we were in Disneyland in 2009!!! So as you may have figured out......today is our 28th Anniversary!!!!!

No big plans for the day, Mike's working & I'm still having trouble with my back. But spending time with my family is ok too!! Mike & I might try and go out for dinner....but we'll see how things are going.

As we headed towards Tomorrowland, I finally spotted one of our Scavy Hunt Teams!!

We headed over to Space Mtn to pick up a fastpass & then to Star Tours to use our fastpass Ty had picked up for us earlier. This ride is amazing after they redid it. You never know where you're going to go, who you'll see & what kind of ride you'll experience.

When you enter, you see R2D2 and C3PO in the lobby area.

You continue on and see different kinds of "droids", what seems to be a window that you see different shadows passing by & the screen that shows people in line (not sure if it's like a heat sensor or night sensor or what it is).

We got Darth Vader at the beginning, went to planet Hoth, saw Adm. Akbar, went thru the astroid field and the planet with the ring around it & ended up at the Death Star.
