Hard to believe that this trip is just over 5 weeks away!!! Lots of planning going on in the Ladies thread.....finalizing plans & just getting everyone excited to being there & seeing old friends!!!

This past week I got the snack bags done, the name tags & some bags to put the treats in on the snack table done. These are all for the Meet-n-Greet party. I even got an item ordered for the Villian's gift exchange that night. So things are coming together nicely!!

Our schedule is also ironing out with times, etc.....so this is how that looks:

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 23:
6:50am~~Depart Portland
9:16am~~Arrive Anaheim
Catch shuttle to Ramada Inn Maingate
Head to park & get lunch at the Jolly Holiday Bakery
Hang out in the parks.
3:30/4:00~~ Head to Carousel Inn to set up for the Meet-n-Greet Party
5:30pm~~ Party of Peril !!!

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24:
Group Photo~~Princess Fantasy Faire
Group Ride~~It's a Small World
11:30~~Celebration BBQ
Shopping at Company D
Meet back up with Tyler
5:00pm~~Ariel's Grotto WoC Dining Package
8:00pm~~WoC, Preferred Viewing

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25:
Group Photo at Castle
9:40am~~Minnie & Friends Breakfast
Hang at the parks.
1:30pm~~Head up to Hungry Bear to see Scavy Hunt Teams & watch the award ceremony.
Group Ride~~POTC
5:30pm~~Dinner at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26:
8:50am~~Surf's Up at PPH
Group Photo at GCH
Group Ride~~Jungle Cruise
Meet back up with Ty at parks.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27:
Check out of motel

Go hang at the parks.
4:30ish~~Catch shuttle back to Airport

I know, especially since I was just there in December!!! Just finished the TR & here we are just over a month away from this trip.....crazy!!! Of course, now I've added the other PTR to the mix as well.....so I'm in Disney-mode all the time!!! House work?? What house work??........

I want to know how you do it all with the twins trip reports or not. At their age they are busy bees.

I want to know how you do it all with the twins trip reports or not. At their age they are busy bees.

The twins like to be around me, so the laptop has been a lifesaver in me getting "adult convo's"!! They sit on my lap & help me (I say that chuckling to myself) or just play in the area around me when I'm on the computer. I also use their nap time to get a lot done too.

They're busy, but for the most part pretty good. They have their moments of getting into trouble....but for the most part they just play by themselves. They love music, so we do a lot of singing & dancing.

When there's a will, there's a way......at least there is when it comes to Disney!! It was my hubby that was taking the wind out of my sail but thanx to a great Alaska Airlines sale & me being committed on the M&G party.....I guilted him into letting me go. Tyler going was because he had been promised a trip when he moved back home to help me......so it just worked out to take him along!!!

The December trip was amazing & Sherry was so gracious in sharing her good fortune with the hotel.....truly blessed to get to go on that little trip!! When I got home, Mike loved the pics & wanted to do next Christmas at Disneyland (not the actual day but the season). I priced it out, with travel, dining, etc & it wasn't cheap....so for fun, I priced out the same thing with WDW & it was just a small bit more & we'd be flying & we'd be there longer.....it really was hard to ignore......so that's how that all came about. Of course, we're expecting a decent tax return again & I'll be getting something from my step-mom's inheritance. The big thing was, we told the boys that all extra money needed to go into the pot for this trip.....it will take some belt tightening to do this....but I think it's doable since we have 11 mths to get it paid for.

It's really too bad you're not coming to the party Beth, this is so up your alley!!! We could have used your Halloween decorating expertise on this. Of course, I still hold out hope you'll surprise us all....... (I thought this last year too.....but no Beth)

I have to deal more with the older kids than I do with the twins. We have our days, but for the most part, they'll find something to play with & it will keep them entertained for quite a while. Also having more than one adult in the house helps. If they're upstairs, they're playing by me.....if they go downstairs to the playroom, then they're with Ty. So extra hands are nice!!!

ONE MONTH FROM TODAY!!!!!

So help me out on this......If I buy Ty's Parkhopper online & print out his ticket......does he need to stand in the long ticket booth lines to get a real ticket or can he just go through the gates & they'll give him one there??? We usually buy the package & have the tickets sent to us.....so since we opted not to do that this time....I'm a bit confused on what he will need to do.

Also: The Good Neighbor motels sell parkhoppers too.....are they real tickets or the print out like we could do at home??

Any info & feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Laurie if he is just getting a ticket NOT an AP then you just take the paper to the turnstiles and they scan it and give him a ticket. I am not sure what the hotels do but I always get it at home because it is usually cheaper and I have it and don't have to mess with anything when I get there but I would check around on prices. Have you checked Getaway today? They are usually a few bucks cheaper than the Disney website. Good luck!
