Laurie, I read about Michayla on FB last night! Wow, what a scare!

I am sorry that you are cancelling your trip. I know how awful that is even knowing there is another one on the horizon!

We are back from the most wonderful WDW trip ever. We were planning to try to get back to Cali next year but DS wanted me to book bounceback at WDW, so we will be going back 8/25/12! Some day we will hit Cali again!

Patty actually you have a year from date of purchase and I bought our tix in June so I only have till next June and since I am worried about job possibilities and the girls can't really miss too much school I don't know if they will get used or not

The only possibility at this point is Katy has a 4 day weekend in Jan around MLK and Shelby gets 1 day but can take an extra day so mom and I are thinking we may try to take them somewhere. Not sure what will happen cuz I HOPE to have a job before then but I hate to let those tickets go to waste. Like I said Shane got almost 1000 back on the hotel and tix and now he owes less on HIS visa then I do on mine. And he is the one with the money. Even unemployed he is bringing home more than I do so it sucks!

Laurie I said it on FB but again how scary about Kayla! I hope she is better today as is your toe and just hope you have a better day!!

It was very hard to give up our Halloween trip, but really we had no choice. The only reason we booked was because we were getting this extra money....well if the money isn't here.....kinda hard to go.

I'm so glad you had a great trip....I totally forgot you were going.....things here have been a bit crazy!! Yay for another return trip....but yes, I really hope another Cali trip gets planned at some point. Maybe we can coordinate!!

That would be great if you could go in Jan & take advantage of the flight credits!!

I think she's hurting a bit today....we've given her some tylenol in hopes to make it better. I think having her entire had bandaged up is bothering her too....but we have to do it that way to keep her from yanking the wrap off her finger.

I"m hoping for a better day today too!!! Mike's home, so that's a bonus!!

Well dang it -- I guess with all the changes the airlines made this must have been one of them. Sure worked great when I used it.

Oh, that is not fair -- would be nice if he offered to give you half. I am sure glad everything is working out. Taking, even a short trip to somewhere new would be good.

I have credits siting in my Alaska airlines box. I only bought 2 two tickets last trip out of 6 ( I wanted to save 40k miles for Diva trip) But since the fare dropped I was able to get credit for mine and then I got Mikes credit to. Getting Mikes was a surprise as in past credits go to the ticket holder not ticker payer. I won't let that money go to waste-- will give to my Girl friend should I not be able to use.

My hubby was a paramedic for 12 yrs, so it's nice having that calm knowledge in the house!!

IMichayla scared the life out of me this afternoon. She was upstairs in her room for nap, she was a little fussy (after being up there for a while)......not really crying, just the normal I'm bored fussy sound. Ty, lacking sleep, decided to just go up & get her because it was bugging him listening to it on the monitor. Next thing I hear is him screaming for me to get upstairs. I walked into the bedroom & Kayla was lying on her bed in a huge pool of blood. She was covered from head to toe in blood. I was freaking out, telling Ty to call 9-1-1. By the time the ambulance arrived, I had found the source.....she broke the window & her hand went out the window, slicing her index finger. I knew fingers could bleed.....but this was an amazing amount of blood & who knows how long she had been lying there. She doesn't react to pain, so she wasn't crying or indicating there was a problem. If Ty hadn't have gone up, I shiver at the thoughts of what could have happened. It's not uncommon for her to fuss up to an hour. Its not crying, its just her way of making noise & she does this quite often when tired. Today.....Tyler was my hero!!!

Well the deed is done......I finally got around to calling Disney Dining & cancelling our Oct 1-8 ressies....... It was not a phone call I was looking forward to, & it actually was depressing to do so!! But's it done & now we'll look forward to making all those calls again at the end of December.

UPDATE: Michayla's finger is healing up nicely but it's ugly....... the window is still unfixed because we just don't have any money to get it fixed right now. Gonna have to figure it out soon....the weather's changing.

For the Diva Trip.....time to start looking at the Halloween stuff to get ideas for our Meet-n-Greet party. Should be able to find bags/containers for the snack table at the after Halloween sales!!! I think getting going on planning for the Diva trip will help lift my spirits!!

It was hard.....never got that close to a trip & then had to cancel....we've had to change dates but never cancel. We decided to tie the family trip into the Diva's trip....so my family will join me Sunday night (things by then have pretty much ended) for a week!!

No way!! My hubby joined me on this trip on Sunday night & we stayed 4 more days (no kids)......it was awesome!!!! (and on the very rare chance of being "burned out".....I can take the twins to the hotel for nap times & let the others stay & play!!)

Canceling a Disney trip hurts.......but I'm looking forward to the Diva trip & then family trip......should be lots of fun. The good thing about postponing until end of Feb........smaller crowds & POTC won't be under refurbishment, like it would be if we had gone in October. That's Shy's favorite song!!

Laurie I am going on the diva trip!!!!

Mom and I had planned a carribean cruise but it got WAY too expensive and when I found out some of my other friends from the chatterbox thread were going I was SO bummed. So mom and I talked and we are going now!!!

We are taking one of those 4 day ensenada cruises first M-F get back Fri at 8 so we will probably miss the princess pic but hope to be in the park in time to meet for Fri lunch. May or may not do the dinner since the girls will be there but Shane is flying in Fri morning to take the girls around while mom and I do diva stuff!!

We will DEF be doing all the sat stuff and some of the sun stuff but then the rest of the time we will be with the kiddos. I am hoping that some of the divas won't mind if Shane and the girls tag along on some rides so I can see some people in between but if not then we will def see them at the meals and scavy hunt.

I am going to have to miss the M&G cuz the cruise doesn't get in till Fri but I am glad just to get to see everyone!!

So excited now!!!!!

That's great Kelly!!! Are you going to be able to get time off from work that soon (and for that long??) I'd be a bit worried about that!!! Are you leaving on Sunday or Monday then?? Mike & the kids will get into Anaheim late Sunday afternoon, so maybe if you're staying Sunday night, we can get the families together for dinner that night.

Yeah I can get the time off. I told them I already had a trip planned for that week so they are cool with it. And I am a temp so it is not the company I have to worry about but the temp agency who is actually who I am working for and they said it was fine.

This works out good cuz we were able to use our air credits from Nov and now I get to go on a small cruise AND see you guys. I am stoked. But I am not sure when Mike is getting there but we will have to leave about 5 as our flight out is at 7.
