I got a slightly mushed box from my mail guy today - he brings the packages down to our apartment and leaves them even if we don't answer the door.. he's awesome!


The package is from Laurie (DizNeeLuver), I wrote in my exchange info "send me something that screams I'm from your state (or city)" and "If a kid would like it, I probably will too!". Laurie wowed me with lots of fun stuff from Oregon.


Gorgeous blue towel, lip balm, sunscreen (spf 50, wise choice for the glow in the dark MN girl), bubbles (oooo fun!), personal fan mister (I've never had one, it will be super handy for our very hot and humid summer days), water bottle (perfect!), a sign that says "Laugh" (which is SO me!), key chain with my initial "B" made from Oregon Myrtlewood, a magnet that says "Keep Oregon Weird" (it's on my fridge now), Finding Nemo postcard from Art of Animation resort and a pack of 10 beautiful panoramic prints from Oregon (the photos remind me a lot of northern MN around Lake Superior or any of the other many many lakes we have, except we have no mountains).

I'm so glad the mushed box didn't do any damage to the insides!!

I was trying to figure out what to send you and then luckily had to make a trip up to Portland and found the "Made in Oregon" store.....that got the brain waves moving!! Glad you liked it!! By the way, the Myrtlewood is only found like in 2 places.......Oregon being one of them. So a rare wood......always love sharing some with our out of state friends.

The other "summer" items were to get you started.....hopefully you'll see some warm sunshine soon!!

Thank you for the wonderful package filled with stuff to help us get our new camp trailer set up!! We got a thermal tote, paper plate holders, Jiffy Pop, Water bottle, Popsicle Molds, Reuseable ice pack, Wooden skewers, Checkered tablecloth & clips to hold it on (and an extra pack of the clips), magnetic clips, 2 pre-made "drinks", hot cocoa packets, Strawberry lemonade water mix ins, citronella candles, a candle holder, hand sanitizer, pedicure kit w/polish, Mickey band-aids, hamburger patty maker, Minnie bubbles, personal fan & deck of cards. But the BEST part of this package was the 2 home made recipe booklets: One for Paleo recipes & one for camping!!!!!

This was an AWESOME exchange gift!!!! THANK YOU!!!

Putting together the camping recipe book killed me! I LOVE cooking when camping & it just made me want to go NOW!!! Hopefully soon! We have to get through 1 more weekend of school musical & the following weekend of prom first...then we can go!
