I have been lurking around these challenges for a little while (getting lots of ideas and inspirations I might add) and this week I have finally gotten brave enough to jump in. However I can't seem to get my link to work. I have uploaded my page to photobucket and have copied the direct link from there and put it into the "add link" function on the reply to thread screen but when I preview it comes up as invalid. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Did you try the "Insert Image" button? (looks like a mountain) I know you need a certain number of DIS posts before you can post an image, though you may have just hit it (could be ten?). But, if send me the link to your photobucket page, I can try try to help.

Carolc-I actually did try the insert image button as well but had the same result. It puts the URL link physically in the post but when you click on it you get an invalid page message. However as I am previewing this post the link is now working. Go figure. But I still don't know how to get the actual image to appear instead of the link. Thanks again for your willingness to help!

CarolC: I LOVE these angles. My kids DO like to take pictures!! But I never thought of giving them a camera for awhile to get "their view" LOVE the whole concept! Love how you've organized the page, and that cute Mickey button!

Carolc-Such a cool idea to have the kids take pics from their point of view!

cassidyk-Though it doesn't matter now, lol, as an fyi to another other newbies, the board doesn't let you post images until you have a certain number of posts. It also won't let you post a link until you have a certain number of posts. I don't know the exact amount (15?), but that's why you were having problems posting the image at first.

I'm a newbie too , and i was just thinking, " gee, self, we're are gonna run out of Disney pics evertually, and we dont have the cash to go back. I wonder if i can stay on here? " lol IM curious about the answer!

There's been, um, lets just say, debate about that in the past. These challenges are for Disney related pics only. Anything Disney related. It doesn't just have to be pics from the park. It could be a Disney bday party, Disney on ice, Disney movies, Disney clothes, etc. There was another challenge running for non-Disney pics, but I guess they weren't too popular since I haven't seen them in a while.

Melissa-Your layout is AWESOME!!!! I absolutely love it. What a great page to end a Disney album with, sort of a summary of the entire trip.

I love looking at all these digi layouts and applaud you all for the creativity.

Just a note for anyone wanting to do non-disney - the challenges are still running that allows any subject, disney and non-disney and a new one just went up. Most of the layouts are traditional but there are some digital one too.
