Well my ww meeting has been cancelled this morning. I haven't been officially weighed now since the 11th of december:confused3 I suppose at least I've got another week for christmas damage limitation!

I'm off to have an Alpen light chocolate and fudge bar (small but delicious and only 1point on ww) and a cup of tea x
 
Shame your meeting got cancelled !! i like the sound of that bar though :thumbsup2
 
OMG - went to WW last night and have managed to put on 9.5 lbs in 3 weeks.:scared1:

I have put on 8lbs
I was so determined to lose it I even brought some scan brans - yuk!!

I weighed in yesterday, havent weighed in for about 4 weeks i think and id gained 7lbs. thats with a couple of days on track :)

Im aiming to lose another 50lbs for now, havent set a date in mind but thats my next goal for now.

Well, I went to weigh in today and I should have waited a day or two I guess because I only lost 1 pound. :headache: My scale said two pounds but I don't know.

Don't stress about it - 1 lb off is still heading in the right direction :)

deffo going to buy some of thise Alpen bars - they sound just right for a snack- i really get the munchies at 10 ish - what does eveyone else have to curb the cravings?
 
I've been considering joining the thread, and have been lurking for a while.
I'm amazed how matter of fact you all are about how much you want to lose:thumbsup2

I have a figure set in my sights but I think I'm going to set myself 10lb stages.

I am making lifestyle changes rather than going on a strict diet, I've realised how poorly disciplined I am when it comes to my diet and exercise and I've just been eating what I want and for my previous lack of activity it's not something I can continue.

I joined a gym in october and have been going a few times a week - just taking it gently at first but since going back after the xmas/new year break I've stepped it up a bit and I'm really enjoying it, I've been three times since monday. I've switched my breakfast from toast to special K and I've swapped my coffee (made with milk :guilty: ) for greeen tea and I really like it now - I just had another cup. I feel better for it and less bloated.

My lunches consist of healthy soups or a seedy brown roll with lean meat and salad. Dinner consist of the usual but smaller portions. Evening munchies are yoghurt or fruit.

I will probably weigh at the gym on a Monday.

Welcome Joanne, your plan sounds like a very sensible approach, you stand more chance of keeping any weight loss off if you change your eating habits for life:thumbsup2

I decided NOT to weigh myself this morning as not only am I dragging the dregs of a nasty cough/cold around with me (I still can't smell/taste anything so it's effort to find anything I fancy to eat, let alone be disciplined :eek: ) but also the boiler's broken down so it was too freeeeezing cold in the bathroom to jump on/off the scales!!! :sad2:

Anyway I'm really hoping I'll be back to some kind of normality by next week and will definitely weigh in next Friday morning...

Hi everyone, I ve been brave and weighed in after christmas and I have put on 3lbs oops, back on track now though and have started walking again did 6 miles in the snow today. Im following slimming world again so hopefully will get back on track.

Just off the start planning the supermarket shop as I always have special K for breakfast but the girls have started having it and love it. Typical - a cupboard full of thei cereal and nothing left for me! :rotfl:

Good luck with all the weigh in's this week. Trust me to pick a Saturday - I'm not sure If I'm one of the last for last week or the first for this week - doh!

Thanks Nat, :hug: it's really getting me down TBH. Thought I was improving yesterday but I slept badly and am coughing like crazy again - dull... :sad2:

That sounds like a great plan .... sort of what I have in mind only without the gym.

Congratulations on the first loss of 2010. Might have to swap my crunchy nut cornflakes for something more healthy once I finish them.
