Dis Dieters, week beginning 26th May 08

Congratulations to everyone who has lost this week. I'm not holding out much hope after a weekend of over-indulgence but, hey, if Nat can do it there's hope for me yet ;)

i'm happy to say that although i have weighed in a day late this week (was working last night, so went to a SW class today instead), i've lost
3 pounds!!!!!
really happy that ive managed to lose a total of 10.5 pounds in 3 weeks!!

Size 18 down to a Size 10 Tracy :) Took 1 year 5 months - slow and steady eh ;)

ooo DIS Dieters - this is just what i need ::yes::

3 weeks to go until i'm off to WDW, and i'm working hard at it - have never been so motivated.

i lost a stone in January, then kinda slowed down (I did a diet prog called "Lighter Life" - was way to fast for me), however, have been very good the last few weeks, and i'm getting there slowly...

ok if i join guys? what do i have to do? is there gonna be some gruelling initiation hahahaha!!

Amazingly I have STS this week (phew !!)

I always struggle when the girls are off school/college, as there's always more chocolate in the house than normal, and after our weekend in Southampton, I had put on till yesterday

Anyway back on track now - :wizard: Good Luck for next week everyone ::yes::

I've lost a measly 1lb this week - I'm not best pleased as I felt like I'd been firmly on the straight and narrow and was expecting at least a 2lb loss. Ah well, must do better next week... ;)
 
Well doen Mandy for STS. Karen, congrats on losing 1 lb - I know how disheartening it is when you feel like you've been really good but don't get the result you're hoping for. Good luck for next week :)

I forgot to post last night but I have had a small gain this week - just half a lb but still a gain. I blame the GGG (and the mountain of popcorn I ate when we got home on the Sunday ;))

Back on the straight and narrow now and hoping for a good loss next week :)

I've lost a measly 1lb this week - I'm not best pleased as I felt like I'd been firmly on the straight and narrow and was expecting at least a 2lb loss. Ah well, must do better next week... ;)

I'll join you if that's OK, been saying all year must loose weight before we go. Anyway with just over 12 weeks to go I set myself the target of 1.5 lbs a week to loose (i.e. 18lb before we go-I'll worry about the other 3 stone when I get back!). Trying to do it slowly and sensibly - my DD is just coming upto 13 and I'm trying to set a good example and help her loose a bit too. Had a good first week (I usually do!) and lost 4lb, but now this week I'm struggling to resist chocolate/cakes/crisps/anything to pick at, especially with it being half term.
I'm going to Rosemary Conley classes so hopefully that'll help. Doing my pre-trippie this pm kept me away from food! I do better when I'm at work-we're not allowed to eat at our desks!
