Dis Daily Fix Hiatus

news

DIS Daily fix will be replaced during the Week of April 4th by the Extra Magic Fix .... which is basically the same thing, but costs $129, is limited to 1,000 viewers, and has all the Mickey bars you can eat! (note you much purchase said Mickey bars separate but you are free to eat as many of them as you want while watching the Extra Magic Fix)

I wonder if it will actually come back at thath point it just seems like it's so much extra work for them doing a daily show as well as the podcast, visiting the parks and their regular jobs a well.

I don't see why it wouldn't. People seem to really like it and it provides good quick info.

All I'm say is other podcast have done it in the past and stopped after a while because it was too much extra work for them. I just don't really see the point of it.

It's for a quick dose of Disney every day. I watch it every day at lunch. JL and Pete do great with it and they are hiring another producer type person which should take some of the load off of Craig and Ryno.

I just don't really bother with it I have so many podcasts i'm subscribed too I don't really need random news stores being read every day on a video feed. But hey if people want to watch it go ahead I'm just voicing my opinion on it and saying I've seen other podcasters in the past do daily shows and stop because it's too much work. Personally I find one news show per week enough plus I like the group discussion more then just one person talking about a random news story everyday.

I think it's easier for the Dis because they have a great team of people. Many other podcasts only have a couple who do all of the work. The Dis has around 10 people with another one coming for the Orlando show.

And that's why I don't like the daily fix it's one person. I like it better when the team talks about the news instead now they just say oh we covered this in the daily fix and don't discuss as much on the podcast. The one that I did watch was pointless as it was talking about people being arrested for selling Disney tickets, I don't get why that is news or worthy of being talked about. But hey if people want to watch Pete or JL read random Disney news stories go ahead. Personally I would rather see JL doing something better like the trip or go back to attractions the show.

This is a quick news update just like national news stations. It's not meant to be a round table discussion or anything. It's meant to give you that 4-5 minute update of what's going on in the parks today. JL does amazing things for the Dis, and the trip was ended because it was too much for everyone to do in an already busy week. Personally I used to watch the attractions show and it just never was that great in my opinion. I'd much rather watch anything the dis is doing.

I love the Daily Fix. I watch it every morning as I eat my breakfast (being in a different time zone has it's perks every now and then). Being on the other side of the world it is just another little way for me to get my Disney fix in the years between trips

Same for me.
I put it on when I'm doing my makeup in the morning. I just listen most of the time, but it's 3-5 minutes of news and I appreciate it.
Keep on keeping on guys, the Daily Fix is awesome

I really like it too. I don't watch it consistently everyday, though. Some weeks I binge watch to catch up (it's current event news, so it may or may not be relevant a week later, but I feel that I must see everything the Dis Unplugged produces)
These are some hard working creative folks and I am loving all the content they are putting out.
