DIS Dads in December - Let the Party Bus Roll!

ok guys I know I am early with this but I am setting up some events that will be streamed live from our Dec trip.I think some of the things that I will be streaming are going to to be the Ice Cream meet,MMCP parade,fireworks and some other things.So it would be cool to get some of the other dads into the live streams!!!So far Steve will be meeting up for ice cream at DTD on sat night,I think I am going to MMCP on thurs so hopefully we can get some dads there for a stream.This should be pretty cool for the Dads at home I know videos are clearer but live streaming is a at the moment thing.
There will be a link and a posted time for these events in my Trip report( once I start it).
I know Christopher did A live ( pics) trip report but I do not believe there was one done through live streaming.So I will venture out and try to set the bar for TR's lol.
I should be breaking off of this PTR around the middle of Nov to start my individual family one.

Live from my cell phone !! There is a 6 second delay but it should be cool.It will be something for the dads at home to catch a live at the moment shot.

I think that this should be lifted for the dads that are trying to text other dads that are in the world at the same time. An of course I think it should be lifted so I can stream live for TR purposes.

If only the dork who initiated the Man Law in the first place would weigh in... oh wait, that was me! Well of course it is lifted if trying to connect with fellow Dads - just don't honk off your wives or kids while doing so. Text, phone or listen to VM's responsibly and you'll be a-ok

Of course, since I'll be there solo, I could be on the phone all day and it wouldn't matter, now would it

I will definitely be at the MK on Monday for a while (it's on the calendar), with another two meets over at the WL, so just a boat ride away. But I'll be there...

We know what Dis Dad events we want to do We have to come up with what days and times, I know everyone has thier own plans with families, plus not everyone is staying the same time. So with that it looks like it will have to be a majority rules system. We can always add more stuff to do if some Dads can meet at a certain park or bar etc. One way or the other everyone should end up meeting all the Dads there

I know at least Steve and I are meeting up on sat the 4th 7 pm @Ghirardelli's for ice cream. Hopefully some others will join in, this will be Steves last night. It also looks liks the next biggy would be Magic Kingdom on Mon the 6th for fireworks. Hopefully we can set a meet location and time.

the 4th im at the mk with an adr at tonys. the 6th, dd and i are doing the behind the scene tour at the mk and we have an adr at ohanas that night. like i said before, anyone who wants, pm me and ill give you my cell number and i can text you or you can text me. heres what we got going if anyone has a spread sheet going: dec1st arrive, dtd , osborn lights. dec2nd mk. dec3rd mk/ epcot dec 4th mgm/mk. dec5 epcot/epcot dec6th mk/ohanas. dec7th epcot/mk dec8th mk/epcot dec9th mk/mk dec10th epcot/mk....... we go to the first park listed than leave arounf 12-1. we go back to the second park listed around 4 or so.... we are with another couple but if i cant get all 7 of us to meet up, im sure they will be more than happy to get rid of me for a while.

7th- Seaworld/Boardwalk late
8th- Epcot/AK/DTD late
9th- MK/MK MVMCP
10th-HS/Epcot
11th- leaving at noon hitting things that DS wants to go to again

For parades I find a spot near the shooting gallary, for fireworks we find a spot near Crystal Palace along the river at the fence line (nobody in front of you)



It's looking like the 6th in the pm, will be a huge Dis Dad presence at MK, we have to plan some events for that night for sure

We did the Dessert party last year, Tink lands right on top of the roof, when she comes in for a landing she is about 10-15ft above you.
I try to avoid the popular crowded areas since I always end up behind the tallest person in the park, plus when it's over the mass exiting and confussion

I like to be far away, and get to where we are going next without being at almost a standstill

We land at 6:15. By the time we got off the plane, loaded into the Father in Law's car and drive to DTD, it will be around 7 or a bit after.

For fireworks sometimes we watch them from the area Of Fantasyland,There you look up and they are all around you. However for the night of the 6th I will watch them from where ever the Dis Dads want to.This would make for an excellent live stream opportunity
