Cheryl: sorry to hear that you've been so sick. Hope you feel better soon!![]()
GaSleepingBeautyFan: Yay for the good news!!! Glad to hear you are doing well.
My surgery is tomorrow morning (lumpectomy and removal of some lymph nodes). I have to register at the surgery center at 7:00 then walk over to the Breast Care Center so they can stick a needle in as a marker for the surgeon. The worst snow storm in our area for years started this morning. The worst of the storm is supposed to hit tomorrow. We don't do snow and ice here in the South! Please pray that (1) I make it to the surgery center safely and (2) pray for the me and for the surgeon!

Reason to panic now- storm coming for Saturday night into Sunday. Should be okay at the airport (3 hours away) by the time our flight is scheduled to leave, but now I'm worried about the getting there. My boyfriend's philosophy is "we'll leave at 2am if we have to or we won't leave at all", which has me a little worried. I'd rather plan ahead and stay near the airport tomorrow night to avoid the traveling. He's driving, so I will leave it up to him, but this could turn out to be another nasty drive to the airport to enjoy Disney. I just want to get there- I'm not worried about coming back, but just let me get there!I have a bad cold and feel miserable. I am congested, my ear and jaw hurt etc.
Stick with a low salt diet to avoid fluid retention!
It was beautiful but snow removal is getting ridiculous now! We did let DS (with Learner's Permit) take the Jeep out last night with us to get some driving experience in the snow. He loved it! Very few people were out so it was actually pretty peaceful. He practiced skidding and braking and turning, and we were just along for the ride. I'll do it today with DD as well, she was babysitting. It was nice that we were all off this weekend, last week I had to go to work during the previous storm and it took me forever to get home and back to work 12 hours later.
