Hey good morning everyone.
This thread slipped down a bit, time for a bump up.
Just wanted to say how much fun my family had at WDW last week. It rained 5 days out of 7 but that was a good thing, kept the temps down dramatically and lowered the crowds significantly as well. We especially had a blast at MK, I think it is easier to get around there with rain than the other parks because attractions are closer.
We did Soaring at EPCO, awesome! We tried to do it the Sunday before Memorial day but the standby wait was 150 minutes so we returned another day and used fastpass.
We also saw the Stunt car show at MGM, also awesome. the show lasts for 35-40 minutes. We got a fast pass (t was star wars weekend) but standby people got in to. It does eat up a big block to time but it is so worth it. My almost 17 Year old DS really was into it but we were all happy.
We stayed in a 4 bd 3 1/2 bath villa. It was great to spread out and we had room for my brother Tom who flew in from NY for 3 days. We sprung for pool heat which was a very good thing due to the rain and lower temps. That water felt great day and night.
Back on topic for this thread, I am going for my first post surgery mammogram (diagnostic), blood work, and chest xrays today at 10 am. I was dreading this a couple months ago, but I purposefully scheduled this for after our trip so I would busy getting ready and enjoying my trip. Now I just want to get this over. One good thing about the diagnostic mammo is that it will be read while I am there so I'll know if anything else shows up right away.
I think I am going to ask before hand to talk to the radiologist either way.
Anyway, just wanted y'all to think about me at 10. Also, keep my Tom in your prayers. Something showed up on blood work (liver enzymes) twice right before our trip, and he had to have a biopsy Tuesday on his small intestine. No results yet.
Thanks,
Laurie
