It's been a little while since there's been any activity in this thread but I wanted to leave a note about a book I just finished: PEOPLE OF THE BOOK by Geraldine Brooks.

I really liked it. I had read a review comparing it to The DaVinci Code. I think it's a better book -- shorter, tons less convoluted, and the main contemporary character is a far more "complete" person than the protagonist in TDC.

Anybody else read it yet? Care to discuss?
