DIS Boards Anonymous?

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I'm a DIS board addict - but just the Cruise and the Wish boards - some of those others are ruthless...

I managed to stay off the boards for 7 days. But I was back as soon I got off the Magic!!!
Good thing I didn't sign up for the internet service on board!!!

You know what? Let me be obsessed, I will never be able to say "I didn't know about that and I missed it!". I feel so sorry for the poor people who go on this cruise and haven't found the forum. They probably get on the boat and are lost and wasting time for days. My hubby is all for it. He asks me to find stuff on a topic he wants to read about. He can't believe all the stuff I've learned. When I picked up my documents, believe me, I knew more about the boat, the restaurants, the excursions than the travel agent. She made me email the the web address for this site. Soooooo, call me crazy and lock me in the looney bin, I'll be laughing when I can relax for the entire cruise after I make my ressies and unpack my bags!

My name is Lynda, and I too am addicted to these boards.

My family thinks I'm crazy, but they do benefit from all I have learned here. I consider all you fellow DISers my second family and I am sure you all understand my addiction.

Your husband and mine would get along well. When I first registered a few months before our first cruise I also drove my dh nuts with all the new info I learned everyday. He would always say, " just tell me when to be on the plane and I'll be there." He didnt want to hear about everything. He said I was going to ruin all the fun because I was going to know everything that was going to happen before we even got on the ship. I later got him to admit that all my research made things better not worse. I knew the best excursions, I secured the best Palo ressies, I knew about the secret deck....the list goes on and on LOL! I can't thank you all enough for giving me the trip of a life time!

I regret that I didn't know about these boards when our family first cruised in 2002.

Ah, well. We still had a great time, but if I'd known about Palo brunch being a 'don't miss', and the room service cheese tray, it would've made our cruises even better!
