I've been reading about our momma's to be in numerous threads. Check in here Mommies/Daddies to be. Let us know who you are, when you are due and if this is your first baby or 2nd or 3rd, or 7th?! ;)

Alas, my "baby" is almost 18 months old. They grow so Fast!princess:

Hi There!! :)

Meagan here :) I'm 22 weeks 2 days along. This is techically my 3rd child, 6th pregnancy. I am so ready for Dylan to make his appearance. Nursery isn't ready yet but it's getting there. :)

Preshi, Dylan???

Does that mean you found out its a boy?

If so, congratulations! I love having two boys, and I gotta tell ya, having stuff to hand me down sure comes in handy! :)

Yep another boy! :bounce: I'm so glad I kept alot of Austin's clothes.

Hi all. I'm 28.5 wks along w/my 2nd DD. Due in April. Can't wait for the next 11.5 wks to go by! It is nice having another of the same gender, as I didn't really have much to buy this time at all. Good luck everyone!

Hi gals - Andrea here (HI MEAGAN!)! I am pregnant with my first - after 5 miscarriages! I am 15 weeks, 6 days!!! Due July 9!

Meagan - LOVE the name Dylan. Wish DH did. This little one with be Ryan if it's a boy, and right now we are stuck on Noelle for a girl.

Does anyone think it's odd to have a baby named Noelle, born no where near Christmas? DH's family seems to think so, and I was just wondering if I am the only one who doesn't...

Congratulations everyone!

I'm 27 weeks, 13 to go! This is my second. First child is 4 yr old boy, Sean, who is really excited to be a big brother. After years of trying, we're expecting our second, a girl, we think ;) April 21. Her name is going to be Tara. My neighbor has me paranoid! She's a midwife and was telling me about how many times parents are expecting a boy or girl b/c of ultrasound results and then see the opposite sex when the baby is born!

This pregnancy is nothing like the first one! I thought the first one was tough, but this one is worse. 1st time I had severe anemia and was on stand by for a blood transfusion. This time I found out I have gestational diabetes, which was diagnosed right at the beginning of the pregnancy. 2 weeks ago I found out the anemia is back. I'm extremely cranky and tired and I can't eat anything I want to eat! I have a private stash of candy for after the birth and a list in my head of what I want to eat as soon as she's born! With my luck, the diabetes will stay with me. I'm sure as soon as I see my little girl, it will all be worth it!

Andrea,

I think Noelle is a beautiful name, any time of the year! :) You deserve to name the baby anything you want! Love the name Ryan too, that was our "boy" choice too.

I love the name Noelle! I like the way it's spelled. Very pretty!

I love the name Ryan too I even like it for a girl but DH's best friend is named Ryan and there is no way I'm naming a kid after him ;) LOL

Stimpy:

I am paranoid about the gender thing too. They told us boy, I've felt boy all along but I was just telling DH how hilarious it would be if it was actually a girl.

Luckily the nursery is going to be a sand color so just in case we can change everything. But I don't think there is going to be any change. I fully expect baby Dylan to be all boy ;)

To All

I love the names Noelle, Ryan and Tara. I have a cousin named Tara and you don't hear that name around much anymore.

A question for all of you mothers-to-be. Are most of you finding out the gender of your babies? It seems to be the norm. We did not find out with either DD and 4 years ago they said about 80% of people would find out.

Maybe expectant fathers or mothers could add that to their posts. Do you know the gender of your baby?

Denae

I found out, I just had to know! :). Lets see on my May Mommy board we have:

100 expected boys
99 expected girls
43 that didn't want to find out

So about 75% find out :)

We were surprised for the 1st child but found out for this one. I wanted to find out more for our son than for us. He really wanted a brother so we wanted to prepare him ahead of time that he may have a sister instead. Now that he knows it's a girl, he's ok with it (like he had a choice  ) Also, I kept all his clothes, bedding, toys etc and wanted to know if I should still hold onto them or start getting some new stuff. But since I am really cheap, she's still going to be wearing alot of blue clothes LOL

Hi all,

We have entered our 14th week of this pregnancy. This is our 4th pregnancy and 5th child (twins are the babies right now). This has been the most trying of all of the pregnancy's so far. Tons and tons of complications--everything from morning sickness, cramps and spotting to bleeding and being told were were miscarrying by an ER dr. (then to go to my OB and have him say that we were not miscarrying...). We are hoping that all of these "bad" things are done, and I can just enjoy this wonderful time of being pregnant. We were not expecting this baby at all, but s/he will be welcomed with open arms by all of us! We plan to find the sex out of the baby only because my MIL would like to know! We are unsure if she will be with us in July--she was diagnosed with brain cancer in Dec. with a life expectancy of 9 months. I am really excited to do a 4-D ultrasound in 10 weeks! We will definatly know the sex then! Crossing our fingers for a girl!! Updates to follow!!!!

I'm due on March 27th with our third child (I'm 31 weeks along now). We have 3 dd's already, ages 5 1/2 and 2 1/2. We didn't find out this time. DD1 was a surprise, but we found out with DD2. We decided we liked the surprise! This PG has been just like my last two. I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to get this baby out!

Congrats to you all!!! :)

Andrea - I think Noelle is perfect any time of year.

Best wishes to all of you for continued healthy pregnancies!

We are not finding out. I really want to be surprised. As I start looking at bedding, etc., I kind of wish we were finding out, but there is plenty of cute stuff that is gender neutral, too.

Thanks gals, for the reassurance on Noelle. When we "decided" on it, we mentioned it to his sister and she said "In July??" I didn't even think of that, but I just told her it will be our Christmas in July. Ugh. Why can't people keep their mouths shut if they don't have anything positive to say?

Amy - wow, you have been through hell already with this pregnancy. I hope that the rest of your pregnancy is uneventful and HAPPY!!

Congrats and healthy wishes to you all!

I love babies so I had to check in to read this and wish all well

However this will be my only post to this thread as I can catch the baby bug just a bit to easily, and for now 5 kids includung twins just needs to be enough for now!!

If I could get a duplicate of my DD I would for sure press my luck but with 4 DS and only ONE DD the odds are for sure NOT in my favor are they!

Wow....there are alot of new Disers on the way!!!!

I'm at 36 weeks TODAY!!!! YEA!!!! We'll have one last ultrasound next week to "determine" little Samantha Yvonne'sprincess: weight and whether she has turned or is still breech. My Dr. let me know that if she hasn't turned we'll just schedule a C-section and I really don't want that. Please send me all the good thoughts you can that she has/will turn.

We were surprised for our oldest and the rest we've found out for various reasons....mostly because DH always wants to know. He can NEVER wait for a surprise! This one I really wanted to wait because she's the last...but we had already given most baby things away (she was a surprise) and it is helping us get prepared.

Do any of you suffer from restless legs? I can barely sleep more than 30 minutes before I have to get up and walk around. Dr. said to get more potassium in my diet. Thank goodness it's only a few more weeks....but then again, I'll be up nursing every few hours, so maybe it's transitioning me into being used to getting less sleep...:hyper:

Good luck to all and here's to both healthy pregnancies and babies!!!!

I'm not pregnant. I just wanted to say congratulations to all of you soon to be mommies and daddy's. I'm still on maternity leave enjoying our new baby boy Jordan, he's six weeks old and we just love to kiss, hold and smell him as well as watch him smile at us while we makes fools of ourselves entertaining him. DD cannot get enough of "baby brother" (that is what she calles him). Again congratulations and continued good healthy pregancy's and deliveries:p
