They could have a block of rooms anywhere from value to moderate to deluxe. I just suspect they won't go for value, though I really wish they would, because we would consider that with a good discount. Even with a discount, we're not doing a deluxe.

My guess would be the Swolphin. They've offered great rates there for past DIS events.

Nope that could actually be a big thing. Blocks sounds like more than one resort. Nice catch.

I really hope it's blockS. We normally stay deluxe at WDW, but I promised DH I'd do this more on the cheap if we can work out a way to go. We won't stay value b/c we're just not happy in something smaller than a queen, so really hoping for mods or the Swolphin.

I'd read this thread yesterday (or the day before? This week's been a bit crazy...) before I listened to the show and when I heard him say it (rather than just read y'all's discussion) it stuck out to me.
Maybe it was just how Pete said it and it means nothing, but I thought "maybe he's set up multiple resort levels to accommodate all?"

For all those going, as llama said, I hate you all, but also, I hope there are resort options if staying onsite is some thing you'd like!

The Swolphin does not participate in ME. Parking is an additional cost. A resort fee is also added. Still, after all that the price for a room there typically comes out to be significantly less than its neighbors around crescent lake.

We stayed at the Swan 2 years ago because I won a free stay from the Prizematron. It was nice. And great to be in walking distance to Epcot and and the other Disney hotels.
