I have seen several sets of directions to Vero Beach but none that say to go by way of the Florida Turnpike.
On a map it looks like the most direct way to go when I will be coming from MCO south exit (picking up the rental car) and head on 417 S. until I reach the Turnpike. The trip back by way of the Turnpike looks better also as I will then be heading to the BCV for the rest of my stay.
If anyone could offer assistance if they have gone by way of the Turnpike or maybe why it wouldn't be a good idea...I really would appreciate it.
