I was wondering if someone could find me a map, that shows the Fort Wilderness layout. He have a ressie for the Mickey's BBQ, and I would like to know a head of time, where the location is, so we don't waste time, trying to find it. I remember reading on here, on hints to the Hoop Dee Doo, with getting to MK, then take the ferry to FW, and then the dock was close to it. So wondering how close this pavillion for Mickey's, is close too.
Thanks for the help! ;)

Well, it helps to know where you're coming from in order to give you the best directions.

If you're driving, or coming from Animal Kingdom, Epcot, or Downtown Disney, you will be at the Outpost Depot. From there, board the SETTLEMENT ORANGE bus, and ask the driver to drop you off for the BBQ. To get back to the outpost, board the OUTPOST ORANGE bus.

If you're coming from the MK via boat, or the Studios, you will be at the Settlement.

If you're at the TTC... board the bus marked FORT WILDERNESS & WILDERNESS LODGE.

If you forget all this, just ask someone wearing purple pants.

I haven't been in a couple years, but it is right near the hoop-dee-doo. Basically all of the Ft. Wilderness attractions are in the same area - down near the dock.

Your best bet if you are coming from MK is to take the boat over to Ft. Wilderness. As you come off the dock there is a path that you'll follow around to the right. Mickey's BBQ is kind of behind the building that houses trails end buffet and hoop-dee-doo.

There's usually plent of cast members around to point you to the right path! Have fun. We've been and it was one of our best disney experiences!!

Hrmm... my bad... I could have sworn the BBQ was near the Meadows Complex... I guess I'm not perfect. Shucks. LOL

I updated my directions.

in the last two years? Maybe you're thinking of the chip n' dale campfire - that's over by meadow.

BBQ was in pavillion type thing behind hoop-dee-doo/Trails End when we went to it in 2001.
