Directions to Disney's Port Orleans - French Qtr

We are staying at the Disney's Port Orleans-French Qtr in December and we will be driving. My question is how is the best way to get there after getting on the tollroad. I was thinking of taking rt 429 to 535 to the resort. Has anyone taken this route before. Or is going to I-4 better.
