Directions to Coronado From Airport

Can anyone give me directions from Orlando Airport to Coronado Springs Resort? Is there a Walmart or grocery store on the way? Thanks!

We are staying at CSR for the first time in December. I could try to explain it but I would probably just confuse you so here are the directions printed on the back of my reservation confirmation:

"From Orlando's International Airport, take Orlando Int'l Airport South Exit to FL 417 South (toll) to the Osceola Park West (toll). From Osceola Parkway take the exit for Animal Kingdom Resort Area. Follow until the road ends. Turn right at the stop sign and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort will be on the left."


That being said, I like to also check mapquest.com b/c it gives you a visual and exact miles for each turn. But it can come back with weird, confusing directions. The directions above are probably the most simple for someone unfamiliar with the Orlando area roads/highways. Hope that helped somewhat.

DalGal's directions will get you close. But now that Animal Kingdom Lodge is open, Osceola Parkway doen't dead end anymore. So I would follow the signs from the south entrance of the airport to the FL 417 tollway. Go west to exit 3 (marked with Animal Kingdom exit signs). This will put you on Osceola Parkway. Go west onto Disney property. Go straight through the stoplight at World Drive. At the next light (Buena Vista Drive), turn right onto BVD. Coronado Springs will be ahead on your left.

There is a super Walmart and a Publix grocery on hwy 192 which will be south of, and parallel to, the tollway. You could go south at exit 10 on John Young Parkway to get down to 192, and then go west to the Walmart. You will need a map or ask directions to resume your route from there to CSR.
