My family and I will be flying into Tampa in 6 days. (Hip, hip hooray!) Unfortunately, we'll be hitting I-4 right at rush hour. I had heard that there was construction going on at one point. Does anyone know if any lanes are still closed? Also, since we're staying at AS Sports, does it pay to get off at an earlier exit to reach that resort, or should we stay on I-4 with the rest of the masses and take the main WDW exit?

We flew into Tampa on 11-30, also hit rush hour traffic. It was pretty thick, but no lanes were closed. When you get your rental car and exit the airport, you will see lots of signs directing you to I-4, just follow the signs, go east to Orlando. It was very simple, DH had put the bag w/ the atlas in the trunk and there was no place to stop and get it out, but we did fine.

Have a great Trip
