Direct Buying Process VS Resale

Ugh i am going to be pissed if these sellers drag their feet. I just got the closing docs yesterday and I paid to have a mobile notary drive to our house a couple hours later and mailed it stat!
The contract we were the most chill about was the one that took the longest. I didn’t think it was going to close, to the point that we let the title company the day before our contracted closing date that if it didn’t happen, we were walking. Surprise, we closed. Lots of finger pointing but it happened. It was our worst out of 5 resales we’ve purchased. LOVED buying direct!

Often it's the title co that drags their feet. So thats great that you already got docs to sign.
The title company notified me before my agent did! She was on it she was like congratulations you passed ROFR, here's all your closing docs, estoppel was already sent from Disney, let me know when you send it. She answered all my questions immediately, I was really impressed! Hopefully the closing is just as fast!

I have a resale that I started 5 months ago and I still do not have those points.

Same here, but it's voluntary on my end (delayed closing due to owner reservation).

Sometimes it works out better this way - it's just an add-on to an existing resort (so no rush to use since I can always borrow from what I have if needed), the price was good, and it allows an year-end bonus to get paid this month before closing :-)

Geez what title company was this

Just as an FYI, not all resale purchases require a notary. When we purchased we did not notarize anything because we paid in full. My understanding is that financing requires a notary.
Ohhh ok that makes sense because two of the documents were from Monera Financial
