I have heard that the busses from AKV have direct busses to and from the parks. Is this true? Are there any times where the busses are "shared"?
I was there in October. All the busses were direct except one time we stopped at a water park. I think it was Downtown Disney, but my memory is not so good.I have heard that the busses from AKV have direct busses to and from the parks. Is this true? At AKV, the theme park buses go from Kidani Village to Jambo House to the theme park. We've never been on a theme park bus from AKV that has stopped anywhere prior to arriving at the park. We'll be at Jambo house. I know we share the bus with Kidani. I want to know if there are busses that go direct to the parks, like MK? Do we catch those park busses at the AKV resort?

Most of the buses from the Animal Kingdom Theme Park stop at Blizzard Beach. I've never been on a theme park bus from AKL/AKV that's stopped anywhere before getting to the park it was headed to.Doesn't the DHS bus also stop at Blizzard Beach? I know that one of them does and was thinking it's always the DHS bus for all resorts.
Our Bus at DHS stopped at BB on the return trip last summer when staying at Kidani.

When staying at Jambo, you may want to try and avoid peak bus travel times or plan on it taking a little longer to reach your destination. All of the theme park buses hit Kidani first and then proceed to Jambo to pick up guests. The only exception to this is the Downtown Disney buses.
So essentially Kidani guests have first dibs. If you are headed to the parks at opening or other busy periods, there is a greater chance you'll have to stand or be forced to wait for the next bus.
In DVC terms, Kidani+Jambo house more guests than the Yacht/Beach, more than Saratoga Springs, a lot more than Old Key West. As long as buses run on a decent schedule Disney can manage the delays. But we all know how imperfect bus dispatching can be.
So if you're headed to a park to make an ADR or some other event during a busy time, I'd suggest getting to the stop a little earlier than you normally would. Either that or grab a cab and avoid the waits altogether.
I am trying to plan on making my ADR at Kona Cafe at the Poly from AKV Jambo house. Say the ADR is at 7:30p. Would leaving at 6:30p from AKV on a Friday be busy high bus time? I also need to allow for the transfer over to the monorail or boat to get over to the Poly. What time should we plan on leaving to make that 7:30p ADR?
Hope:
We stayed at Kidani in October and had ADRs at the Grand Floridian. I allowed 90 minutes and we ended up being about 20-25 minutes early. The transportation was pretty flawless--about 10 min wait for the bus, straight to MK, transfer to monorail, no monorail delays.
I would think that 80-90 minutes is enough of a buffer unless you really hit a perfect storm of delays.
If you find yourself waiting a long time for the bus, you could always just grab a cab. I believe there are usually a cab or two hanging out at Jambo. They could have you to the Poly front door in 15 minutes. (Just another reason I love driving as it would save you an hour of travel/wait time for this one trip.)
It stops as long as BB isn't closed.
