Direct Add On - methods of payment

I'm considering a small direct add on. I'm having trouble finding right UY, right size contract, right resort all in one, so I'm considering buying direct. Am I right that they accept credit card? Do they accept Amex, that's my cash back card. Thinking to charge initially for the cash back then pay off the card. I'm Canadian so no option for the Chase Disney cards. Just wondering. I think I also read that they will split into two payments. Can anyone confirm that?

Yes, they’ll accept AMEX and split it into two payments if you wish. You can even have those two payments on two different credit cards.

They split mine into 3 payments. You just can’t close until the final payment

Yes they accept amex. If you have a premium Amex card you can use the plan it service. At the moment is free of charge.

If you have not, check the USD Credit Card thread on the Canadian forum.
https://www.disboards.com/threads/usd-bank-accounts-and-credit-cards.1678988/If your Amex converts to CDN they may add an FX fee of 2.7% or so depending on the card. Not certain what your Cash Back is but it may not be worth the extra fee.

The forum lists options for USD cards if you have USD cash or no FX fee credit cards. Not certain if there is a Canadian based USD credit card that gives you points or cash back but certainly there are no FX fee cards that do.
