Dinsey ticket prices going up this Sunday!!

Does this apply to Hopper passes at the Disney Store? I was waitingto purchase passes for our June trip with point earned through the Visa Card. Now I won't have time to get my rewards before the increase, right?

OMG! Thanks for the heads up! I am going in May and went ahead and ordered them on line today!! Thanks again!! Hopefully I've saved a few bucks!!:teeth:

Thanks for the info. I was going to pick our hoppers up tomorrow, but I just made a dash to the Mall today.

I rushed out to the mall as well and picked up our 5 day hoppers to split between 2 short trips this June and December. Thanks for the Heads Up!

(I get a lot of abuse from the DW for spending so much time at the DIS Boards, but now I have something to prove that the time is well spent.)

Hmm..what great timing..just in time for the HUGE easter crowds they know are coming, gee wonder who thought of this great idea to surpirse unexpecting guests with?:(

Thanks for the heads up. We were planning on purchasing 6 annual passes for our trip in November. So I immediately went on-line and purchased our tickets. Potential savings $60.00 to $72.00.

Thanks again,

John

Oh, no! I didn't see this post until now. The mall closes in an hour. Think I can make it? :teeth:

Thank you so much. I was going to go to the mall this week sometime to get the tickets for our upcoming trip. Instead, DH went tonight to get them.

Disney4ever, you saved us $$.

When I read your posts earlier about the price increase tomorrow, I immediately jumped in the shower and headed to our closest Disney Store (1 1/2 hours away).

Even though I felt obligated to get them today, it made it more exciting because now I have them in my hand. Yipee!!

I just can't wait!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I am joining the ranks of those who bought their tickets after hearing this news. Thanks a bunch! The last time I purchased AP's was just after the last increase. I missed it by days and I was so upset. I'm wondering if the $20 increase is across the board, or if the AP increase will be more. The CM at the store seemed to be implying that it was more, but I certainly don't know if she knew for sure.

I am so nervous. We waited to buy tickets for upcoming trip the week after Easter. I saw this information about tickets increasing tonight while checking the boards. I went to Disney tickets on-line quickly to put the order in- and while the system was processing- it came back with a message about "order is pending due to system availability". I called the 1800-number but the ticket research line won't be open till Monday.
I checked AAA but you can't order on-line, the office is closed.

I will be so bumbed if my procrastination/busy schedule caused me to pay more. I know we are paying a lot for the vacation, and 50.00 more won't kill us- but its more about the principle!!

any words of advice? the girl on the line thought I should "order again through the consumer line tonight" but if/when the on-line order goes through, I don't think I would get a refund, and don't want to be charged double.

thoughts?

We went and got ours today also. My DH joked with the lady that we were there before the price went up and she kindda blew it off. Maybe she didn't want us to be too loud! I too am thankful to the board because We were gonna wait another few weeks to get the rest of our tkts and now we at least we saved a few bucks

I just ordered tickets online as well. I needed one more PH+ and one more AP for my April trip.

I got the "pending" message...but it says they will email the status of the order so I just printed out the screen and will wait.

I selected the "will call" option to save on shipping. I think I did this one other time, but not sure. This ended up being only $13 more than TicketMania, which is where I purchased all my other tickets. They don't take credit cards so you have to place your order online, then mail them a check, then wait for the tickets.

I think paying the $13 extra is worth it.
