LOL. Dinner seating time selection discussions can border on being political. Really depends on what your normal dinner time is at home and your home time zone.
Other than my first cruise 44 years ago on a small ship that only had ONE seating for dinner, at 6 pm, I have always had late seating. I am a West Coaster but it didn''t matter if it was a Caribbean cruise, and Alaskan Cruise, or a Hawaiian Cruise, we had late seating.
And again, my hat is off to working parents who can get their kids home from school, get themselves home from work, and have dinner on the table at 4:30 to 5 pm at home. During soccer and Little League season it was always a mad dash from school to the fields, so no time for dinner before. And especially with Little League in May sometimes going until sunset at 8 or 830 pm, how do people do it? Thank goodness our league did not have lights, the neighboring league that has lights the games can go until the 10 pm curfew.
