dinning plan Question

we have never used the dinning plan and just have a quick question about it.
i know it goes by each night you stay, but i just read where someone had to wait till the next day to use their dinning plan. so in our case we get in around 10:30am so we should be checked in around noon. does our dinning plan start on the first day right when we check in? ive already made adrs so i just want to make sure i have figured it out right with the DP.

Your dining plan starts as soon as you check in and get your KTTW cards which will have your dining credits on them. They are also your room key and charge to the room card. You will be able to use dining credits until 11:59 PM on the day you check out.

It's possible that you read a thread where someone had a room only reservation for one night and a package reservation starting the next day. They may have picked up their park tickets on that first day, but their dining credits wouldn't be available until they checked in the next day when their package res started.

You can start using your dining plan after you check into your hotel and get your Keys to the World cards, even if your room isn't ready yet!! We really like the dining plan and Disney makes it easy to keep track of your credits! Have a Magical trip!!
