Dinning Advice

On the mornings of your character breakfasts- Storytellers/ Goofy's, it looks like you also have big dinners planned. I would stick with more of a snack for "lunch". That would be a good time for a pretzel, churro, chimi etc.. Reason? If you choose buffet at Storytellers, then you have two big breakfasts. Then you have two big dinners with Hooks Pint and Brennans. Also, Instead of Carnation Cafe, Blue Bayou, Plaza, why not Plaza around 10:30 and Blue Bayou around 4:00 with a Dole Whip around 1:00 when it's hot and a churro at Fireworks?
We usually try to do a lite breakfast like a muffin walking through DTD and waiting in line for rope drop. Then and early lunch and early dinner. We figure we are there to enjoy the park and want to spend as much time as we can IN the park, That would cut down on one sit down a day

Great Ideas! :thumbsup2

Room service? I would do counter service DTD for a fraction of the price and enjoy the atmosphere for a fraction of the price. Will you have a car? If you do stop at an In-N-Out Burger on the way to the hotel. Or walk down to Whitewater Snacks and enjoy the view. We always enjoy te Mckey Mouse pancakes at the River Belle Terrace for Breakfast. We enjoy sitting outside and watching the people.

the only reason we decided on room service was that we figured we wouldn't get into the room until 8:30-9:00. and that it would be after traveling and school and work. what DTD place do you suggest? :confused3 :confused3

Tortilla Joe's is pretty good. We have eaten at the CS and TS sides. Both were very good. I have some pics of the food some where if you want to see them. For the CS we had burrito's they were HUGE and yummy!

RBJK was awesome too! Be sure to take some pics and post them since you are going so many places :) we love the food porn:lmao: :lmao:

You should add corn dog to your list of snack too :)

I might be in the minority here but I understand your thoughts of Room Service that first night. After traveling and getting the room organized, you may want to explore the hotel but I wouldn't want to wander around looking for food at 9 pm. Plus, RS is a luxurious splurge that starts a vacation off right!:thumbsup2

I'm not a blue bayou fan either, but I'm thinking of giving it another chance for lunch next time I go.

We don't usually plan our meals in the groups I've gone in. It's sort of a "we're hungry, okay lets stop" thing.

I love that airport idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

It's what I usually do when I have to fly around a meal time, especially since airport food has a good chance of being subpar for the cost. I also recommend buying a special and semi-perishable Disney-themed snack (like a Mickey pretzel) to enjoy on your flight home, in order to extend the magic a little further.
