I feel like such a fool, but I've been so wrapped up in getting everything around here ready for our trip I forgot to look into making reservations for one of the shows there at Disney. I can't even remember what shows there are. Can these be reserved once we arrived or do I need to call NOW??

I'd like to take the kids to at least one show while were there but like I said I'm not sure what shows there are and one which nights they are. We leave tomorrow and return the morning of the 16th.

Thanks for any REALLY FAST suggestions you all can make (:

I would call to try to reserve now, if you can't get in to the one you want keep trying :)
There's the Hoop-dee-doo Musical Revue, Polynesian Spirit of Aloha, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, Fantasmic Dinner Packages

Two dinner shows at WDW:

Hoop-Dee-Doo, and Spirit of Aloha.

Hoop-Dee-Doo is at Ft. Wilderness, and is a slapstick country-western style show. Food is all you can eat BBQ, fried chicken, beer and sangria included. Dessert is strawberry shortcake. Usually has 2 or 3 showtimes per night.

Spirit of Aloha is at Polynesian resort. Can't remember the food for the meal, but dessert is a chocolate lava cake. I think it also has 2 show times per night.

They take reservations 2 years in advance for these shows. Need to reserve with a credit card, and if you need to cancel, you must do this at least 24 hours in advance, or else your card will be charged for the show.

Which shows do you mean? If you are asking about the dinner shows like Hoop-De-Do Revue and the Polynesian Luau, those are usually reserved well in advance. However, there are often times cancellations so you could call before you go and ask if there are any seats available. If you are talking about a dinner/Fantasmic package, those too usually book up fast, but it never hurts to call and check for cancellations.

If you are talking about character meals, those are booked in advance, although some people have had success calling and getting a PS on the morning they are heading to a park.

I would suggest you get on the phone with Disney dining right now (407-WDW-DINE), go over the days you will be there and see if they can find anything available. From what I understand the parks are fairly busy right now, so you might have trouble getting PS's.

Good luck and Pixie Dust! :wizard:

Thank you so much! Now, are there just shows (no dinner) that we could make reservations to see when we get down there tomorrow?

The only other real "shows" that are not IN the parks are at Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island:

"La Nouba-Cirque du Soleil" is a self-contained show. You might actually be able to get ressies as late as today.

The Comedy Warehouse has several "improv" shows nightly, just a walk-up.

And there are "Twin Pianos" performing at Boardwalk (walk-up).

Otherwise,
Disney/MGM Studios "walk-in" shows:
"Beauty and the Beast On Stage"
"Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular"
"Motor Stunt" show (new).

Magic Kingdom "walk-in" show:
"Cinderellabration" is on the Castle "steps".

Disney's Animal Kingdom "walk-in" shows:
"Festival of the Lion King"
"Tarzan Rocks"

Epcot "walk-in" shows:
Various shows around the World Showcase
