Hi,

We are staying at the RPH for 3 days during Easter Week. Can someone explain how priority seating works for on-site guests? Are there added benefits than for someone not staying on site? I thought I read something about FOTL type priority seating ? Do I need to call 90 days ahead of time? Or do I reserve through through the hotel when I check in? Are we seated ahead of others who have PS but are not hotel guests?

Sorry to ask so many questions but I was amazed at how FOTL works at the parks and when I read about FOTL for restaurants, I couldn't believe this...sounded too good to be true.

Thanks!

When you walk up to a restaurant without a reservation, you receive first available seating ahead of other guests who just walk up.

You won't need reservations 90 days out. You can make reservations through the hotel, guest services at either park, or citywalk dining cart. Also both parks have a dining cart setup near the entrance after entering the turnstiles. If you want to make reservations ahead of time, you can call but many do not take reservations more than 30 days out. There is a sticky thread at the top of this forum with most of the information you will need.

Staying on site will NOT get you any priority seating at the hotel restaurants. It will help you at City Walk and restaurants in the parks. If you want to eat at either Emeril's at City Walk or Emeril's Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific, make reservations well in advance.

So if I make reservations are we seated ahead of other non-hotel reservations? And would you recommend that I make resevations in advance because it's Easter week or would it be OK to wait until I get to the hotel?? It is so amazing how they treat hotel guests!!!

I LOVE planning (non-planning!!) this part of the trip (3 days at US/IOA) followed by 4 days at WDW. I have been madly planning my days at WDW, the parades, the dining etc...because it is such at crowded week... At US/IOA I am completely relaxed and looking forward to what ever comes my way!!

Thanks!
