Dinner reservations before MVMCP

HELP!!!!!!! I have talked to 3-4 different CM and have all totally different stories.

I want a character meal prior to MVMCP. FIrst I was told only LTT will let us in with just the party ticket. So I booked that.

90 days out I called to get Crystal Palace - she told me that I needed a park pass to eat there and that I needed a park pass for ANY ressie. I hung up. Drove to work and got nervous because I was originally told that LTT would let us in without a park admission.

So i get to work and call again- the crabby CM told me in not so pleasant terms that I was NOT getting in the park without a park admission. Can NOT use my party ticket until 7 pm.
Got rid of her because she was just so not nice.

Waiting a few minutes, called again ( gosh I think my work is gonna be annoyed of me calling long distance!)
This woman didnt know, but got off the phone and talked to somebody else.... they said all i had to have was my party ticket and to pay for parking and then i could eat at the Crystal palace.

SO, who do i believe- I dont want to get there and not be allowed in. I have two PS at LTT and CP. Afraid to cancel LTT if the the CP wont work.

Last year they allowed admission after 4:00pm with just the party ticket but that's no guarantee they will do it that way this year. We got in at 4:30pm with just our MVMCP ticket, no one questioned us about a PS (we didn't have one, just wanted to arrive early).

When is your party night? If it's after the first night, I'm sure someone will post here what the procedure was the first night so you'll know in advance. I think the chances are pretty good they will let you in early, especially if you have a PS. When cm's make ps', they just read off the computer screen that park admission is required. Another indicator to watch for is what they do with MNSSHP in October.

I am going 12/4, but wont have access to a computer after the first night of the party. We are leaving 5 am on 12/1.

Thanks for the idea about the MNSSHP !! I will be anxiously waiting for the posts about that.

I just cant imagine them telling somebody to use a park admission at 5 pm when the park closes at 6.

Last year ( we have AP) we were in the park and had to leave early. When we came back for the Xmas party which was around 4 pm all we had to show was our Xmas party tickets. Now I would still keep checking to make sure, but that is what happned to us. From what I remember they actually stopped general admission around that time and only Xmas party tickets were being accepted. Hope this helps a litlle, but still double check to make sure.

We went to MVMCP last year and got in around 5 with just our party tickets. They had separate turnstiles open for party tickets. I don't think you will have a problem.

You shouldn't have a problem, as long as you aren't trying to enter the park before dinner time with your party ticket.

I have My tickets to the MVMCP for 12/2 and at the time I ordered them on the phone I was able to make my PS for the LTT at the same time.
The CM I spoke with was quite nice. I got my seating for 5:10pm and she explained to me that a CM would greet us at the gate and escort us thru the park right to the restaurant.I believe the park would still be open until 6pm.
At that point or sometime during dinner we would get our bracelets for the evening.
I hope you have better luck on your next phone call. I have found that persistently calling gets you a wide selection of CM and it is worth the effort when you find the one who goes the extra mile.

I called and I have ressies for LTT before the MVMCP and they said that it's no problem to come in as long as I have my party ticket. (our ps 5:40)

Last year we had a PS at 4:30 for CP and they let us in the gate with our xmas party tickets and PS #. We got done before the party started and they took us to Tommorrowland to wait till they ushered the day guests out. We plan on doing the same thing this year. Just got my PS this morning for CP at 4:30pm on Dec 16th! YEA!!!
